Stayed here over New Year with coach party. Hotel location fine, clean and warm. Bedroom was adequately sized with ample storage space. Like other reviews food was not always of an expected temperature and cold plates made the situation even worse!! New Year's eve buffet was good and plentiful but dinner on New Year's day consisted of the leftovers from...

Stayed here for xmas with Edwards Coach Holidays. Extremely warm hotel, perfect location to visit the pretty village of Monschau. Evening buffet was always good. however, not always piping hot and often food was not replenished. Once it was gone... it was gone!!! Deserts were very poor. Be warned, if you are staying here for Xmas Day, do not expect...

We rented an appartment which was nice, but very cold. The shower did not give hot water when somewhere else somebody was taking a shower. The foodat lunch was all cold: nobody cared to keep it warm. For the dinner: some items were regularly out of stock and the preparation of part of the dinner was poor. The breakfast on...

This hotel has grown to our regular hotel for weekend visits. This time we were with friends for a cycling weekend. It is a nice neighborhood for cycling and the hotel provides a place for cycles when you are not cycling. The food is always very good, the breakfast is always better than the dinner. Parking at the hotel is...

Went on an organised trip and this was the hotel chosen by the tour company. The hotel is perfectly positioned only 10 minutes walk from the Xmas market and Monschau itself is very pretty. The room was tired looking and dingy, though the bed was comfortable and the room clean. Central heating wasn't working but they provided a convector heater...

We travelled to this particular hotel with Lodges Coaches for a Christmas market weekend. Arriving in the afternoon. We had sufficient time to clean up have a drink in the bar before dinner. Dinner was self service you had a choice of dishes including soup, hot mains, cold meats and cheese. The wine is served by the waiters and allocated...

I stayed there yesterday, room 405, this is The worst hotel of the years, noisy, a electricity generator is at the front of the window, and impossible to sleep. the room is small, the bed is cheapest version that you can buy. Tourist trap.

I travelled with a coach party. This hotel is an historical building with a modern annexe. We had rooms in this section - large, very clean and well appointed but similar to all tourist hotels in Europe, including the UK. The buffet dinners were disappointing as the food was often cold - and there was no tea or coffee available...

Hotel is very clean well run and I would say basic-not much better than a Premier Inn. The biggest problem we experienced was the lack of vegetarian food and understanding what this means. On two evenings we were informed that the soup was vegetarian but on both occasions we found meat floating in it!! Breakfasts were okay but again you...
