I really love visiting Anghiari, a medieval town in Tuscany. When I do, I always stay at Livio and Stefano's I Bastioni, a small collection of restored flats in the old town. All of the flats have small kitchens, comfortable beds (Busatti linens!), wireless internet, and modern bathrooms. A stay in Anghiari is off the beaten path in Tuscany, but...

Excellent and helpful Stefano has a selection of small flats (on the apart-hotel model) with character in the medieval centre, some with gardens and views, all with at least bedroom/bathroom/sitting/kitchen. Ideal for a short visit, local shopping for your self catering, the famous Busati factory and store and the good local restaurants. On our first visit we were met at...

This is the second time in the last two years I have stayed in Anghiari using the services of I Bastioni. I have taken the liberty of quoting the I Bastoni philosophy: “We would like to give you a unique experience in our small town.” And that is EXACTLY what you get when you visit Anghiari and stay in one...
