We stayed for 5 nights in October using it as a base to explore Tuscany in our hire car. Flew into Pisa and drove to the Villa about 45 mins away. We had upgraded online from a room to an apartment however as soon as we checked in we were told that the apartments were self catering and breakfast was...

It's been written about already but the staff here on Reception are very positive and helpful , they have looked after us very well ( bar is open very late ) and on our late arrival provided food and gave excellent instructions...

We stayed at Villa Saulina for a week and used as our "away from it all" base from which to explore Florence and the beautiful surrounding Tuscany region. This is a perfect location if you want to stay in a beautiful countryside setting, the views are very special. Our apartment was two storey and much larger than expected and would...

We had a mixed time at Hotel Saulina. When we arrived our booked two-bed apartment wasn’t available due to an unclear ‘problem’. We were told it would only be one or two days. Then we were told it may not be fixed at all during our stay. The one bed apartment we were given wasn’t great: it was poorly decorated,...

We took a "tour of Italy" and this was by far my favorite part of our visit. Wonderful staff, breathtaking views and fabulous dining. We had breakfast by the pool each day followed by shopping in the nearby Centre. It was amazing. I cannot wait to come back!!!

I have been coming here for 4 years now and it never fails to impress me. The scenery, the quiet and relaxing atmosphere and of course the friendly and helpful staff. The scenery is really the star of the hotel and the distance from the local town and busy roads allows you time to relax and reflect on your trips...

We were part of a tour group who stayed here, me, my husband and my daughter. The room was quite big and really nice and warm. It's a basic room where you can sleep. The views are nice and the staff are friendly. You do need transport if you want to book here as it is a bit out of...

We were attracted by the setting (which is beautiful), but the room was a little more basic than what we expected with a small bathroom and a very temperamental shower. Breakfast service is enthusiastic and very friendly, which is a great way to start the day.
