I am writing this review while still a guest of the resort. We booked a week's stay in mid-July and, fortunately, we still found an apartment available. We are staying as a couple (and with a dog) in a first floor apartment in the olive grove complex. The apartments are well-kept, clean, furnished in rustic style. Perhaps you could expect something more from a 4-star structure, but it is truly a negligible detail. This resort is an oasis of serenity surrounded by nature. The structure is truly beautiful, pet friendly to the nth degree. There are horses, ponies and goats, very well kept. The two pools are very well kept, never crowded and the area for dog owners is large and adjacent to the main pool (the pools are not very large, but they are the right size). If you have a sociable dog - and if any other dogs present are equally sociable - your 4-legged friend can stay free and play with his new friends. There is a small bar open from 11.30 to 18.00 which offers the possibility of having lunch while remaining by the pool (we have never had lunch by the pool, but people we met at the resort told us that the lunch was good). The restaurant is also truly excellent, perhaps not for everyone.
Given the area, the advice is to dedicate the morning to visiting the magnificent villages located in the surrounding area, and to dedicate the afternoon to relaxing in the pool or taking advantage of the services offered by the resort (SPA, riding stables, trekking routes).
Don't miss Pitigliano, Sovana, Sorano, Capalbio, Montiano, Montepescali, Rocchette and, of course, Scansano. Pitigliano is also worth a visit by night. If you are looking for a place to relax, this is the right place!

Special! We stayed in this resort for three days and two nights and I must say that everything was perfect, the staff is very kind and super helpful, the rooms are very clean and equipped with everything you need, the swimming pool area is beautiful with an area dedicated to dog owners where you can let your 4-legged friend run free without a leash Bar service by the pool with everything you need even for celiacs! The whole resort is super well looked after, you can see that not a thing escapes, everything is always tidy and clean The feeling in all the spaces of the resort is that of absolute peace.. I would say excellent! Good breakfast, maybe if I wanted to find a flaw I missed the homemade jams and we would have needed a few more choices regarding the savory buffet (cheeses and cured meats) but overall everything was good! Wide choice also for celiac breakfast with schar products and hot bread on request :) Furthermore, for two evenings we had dinner at the resort's restaurant and I must say that they were two five-star dinners, very good meat, excellent service! My partner also had some tagliatelle on the last evening and they were special! I highly recommend this resort!!! And I will definitely be back!

Just returned from 3 days spent in this beautiful farmhouse in Maremma. The offer proposed by Matteo and Elisa is excellent both in terms of well-kept environments and catering and services. The SPA was clean and not crowded, the girls were very kind and competent, a top massage. The good weather allowed us to enjoy the terrace with outdoor jacuzzi and views of the countryside. The dinner was excellent and the meat was delicious. Sweet and savory breakfast served on a beautiful veranda always with a view. Good swimming pool park with small bar attached where you can have lunch. We stayed in a standard room which was still spacious and clean. I would suggest installing mosquito nets on the windows to be able to keep them open without risking the entry of insects which, being in the countryside in Maremma, are present. Another suggestion for Matteo from my husband: a tennis court, what do you think? Thanks again for everything.

I put 3 to take an average between the beautiful things the farmhouse offers and those it doesn't The high rating for the structure and location is very beautiful and well built. For the breakfast and the kindness of all the staff. The very low rating for.. the welcome… We booked an apartment which is located about 200 meters from the central structure. We arrived around 11pm and at the reception they sent us alone at night to look for the apartment and gave us the keys... we had to open an electric gate... find the car park not near the apartment and find a ladder in the dark at night. Apartment on the ground floor and with external light not working... considering that there were large frogs and beautiful cats wandering between the houses. I'll report the problem the next day... No result, The apartments are very beautiful on the outside... when you enter it's another world... very questionable furnishings... but with only one light in the bedroom, only one mirror which only fits on the bathroom sink (at least put one in the bedroom) and there is no room in the shower. It's a simple shampoo holder. The Spa... a maximum of 8 people can enter in shifts of 2 hours... but we had another three people enter late from the previous shift... with an initial indoor swimming pool that was practically useless... and with only 7 deckchairs... a very small Turkish bath .. maximum three people with 7 sunbeds to relax in.. but then it's possible that we stay for two hours.. and they don't put a simple basket with some fruit like in all spa centres. The rest of the Spa... that is, very beautiful external rooms... but with a very small Finnish sauna... maximum for 34 people but seated nearby. There is a beautiful view, two good hydro tubs with different temperatures... room with hay smells but only for 4 people Then there are the swimming pools... nothing to say... three swimming pools with garden, refreshment bar, deckchairs and also an area with deckchairs for dog lovers.

I spent a week's holiday with my family in this wonderful place at the beginning of August. The farmhouse is very beautiful, on a hill, with a breathtaking view of the surrounding hills and the town of Scansano just a few km away. The rooms are large and very clean. The surrounding park is well kept as is the area around the 2 swimming pools. The staff is very, and I stress, very kind, always ready to satisfy every request and give advice on what to visit in the surrounding areas. But the Top is achieved with the restaurant. Having taken advantage of half board, we had dinner in the farmhouse restaurant every evening and it was the best choice we could have made! All the dishes, from the appetizers, to the first courses, to the second courses and the desserts were really very good; it is clear that the raw materials used are top quality and that the chefs know how to cook them in the best possible way. I couldn't recommend a dish because everything was truly excellent. Suffice it to say that my daughter, who doesn't particularly like meat, ate the cut 7 nights out of 7 as she considered it the best cut she had ever eaten so far... I tasted a bit of everything and I can assure you that it was everything exquisite. We didn't use the spa, so I can't give an opinion. The only small flaw that I allow myself to point out is the poor soundproofing of the rooms and the lack of a shelf in the bathroom even just to place a towel or razor, but this is just a detail that I allow myself to write to make this place truly unique. I would recommend it to anyone! Congratulations to everyone!!!

“We should try to be happy if only to set an example” That's what Prevert said...and we really were here. Magical place among the hills of the Maremma, as soon as you arrive your eyes fill with greenery and peace, that peace that you always look for and that is never enough... Amazing location, surrounded by greenery and managed by wonderful people.. Elisa you gave us a stay that we only timidly dreamed of... Thank you! The dinners enjoyed cannot be commented on... censorship I would say! Paradise for celiacs and others, raw materials exalted to the highest levels, room service as only those who love to pamper can do. We were on holiday with our three dogs, and they too would never want to go home. Thank you because you made our stay here our happy moment… Thanks to Elisa and Matteo for their commitment and thanks for giving us the opportunity to discover a wonderful place like the Maremma. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Immersed in the Maremma along the slope just outside Scansano, you can enjoy an excellent view overlooking the valley a stone's throw from the Argentario.. Great staff ready for your every request .. We spent a pleasant end of year weekend and with it anke pleasant evenings. Perfect choice!!!!!! Well-kept location immersed in the greenery of the Maremma: well-kept outdoor areas from which you can access the SPA, breakfast room and external hydromassage tubs; in the reception room there are several relaxation corners (including a large fireplace); room equipped with every comfort overlooking the valley; high level restaurant with tasty dishes prepared exclusively in a family environment; what more can I say... We spent 6 nights in this resort and truly loved it. The staff is really rocking :-) We had a very spacious 2-floor suite with a marvellous view on the Maremma countryside. The rooms are in traditional style. One point of improvement could be the airco which in our room was very noisy and not effective at all. As we had half board stay we ate at the restaurant every evening and it was a real delight! They specialise in dry aged local beef but everything we ate was really delicious and very local. The staff again is really friendly and hard working to make every table feel at ease. They have 2 very nice swimming pools with more than enough space for everyone on comfortable sun loungers. They also have a handy bar at the poolside for nice drinks and even light salad lunches. It's a really great place to visit the Maremma region and even the coast side.

This was our second visit, everything was perfect. Everything is very quiet and is the ideal place to unplug and relax. Clean and well heated room. Very varied breakfast, both sweet and savory. Dinner at the "la castagnetta" restaurant of the structure is essential. Thank you for making our short break special.
