    Amazing view and location by the river!
    Great place with a peaceful, beautiful location. Lots of stuff to do by the river, only criticism is that the place could have more restaurants nearby, but again, you are in the middle of nature! Staff is wonderful and goes out of its way to satisfy guests. Would go back again!

    Beautiful cozy hotel
    Beautiful place to relax with friends and family. With an amzing view, accomodations and staff. The dinner was amazing as well as the breakfast. We got a very warm welcoming by the staff. Will come back for sure

    Can anyone tell me how long it will take to drive from the airport? and is there anywhere nearby we can buy supplies like bottled water etc. thank you!
    Thank you very much for your interest in Hotel Estalagem Lago Azul!! There is a supermarket at the Village and a small cafe where you can buy water at the Blue Lake. If you have a GPS just search for Ferreira do Zezere, if not the easiest way will be to search on Via Michelin website as we are not allowed to paste links on Trip Advisor.     Dear hotel manager, Is it allowed to swim in the lake? Do you have rowing boats or kayak for guest use? When starts to get warm enough for swimming? Many thanks in advance
    Dear Madam, First of all I would like to wish you a wonderful New Year 2018 and to thank you for your preference for Hotel Estalagem Lago Azul. It is allowed to swim all year round in the Lake same as in our swimming pool. Usually the weather is really nice and warm around April or May. We do have water pedals complementary for our guests and there are companies at the Blue Lake that rent paddle surf and kayaks as well as the first cable park wakeboard resort in Europe open all year round at just 700 meters from our Hotel.     "Pay a little more for the lake view."
    "Top floors have better view.Suites are on the corners and are 100% private and facing the river. Some double rooms facing the river loose some of there privacy because of the varandas of the large suites. FRom the corners of these you have view to some of the double rooms. For total privacy go for the junior or large suite."
