Hotel's Favourite
Was there 3 nights in May. Had compact but well -designed single room. Great location, new & bright, excellent staff, and wonderful breakfast at 8.5 euros. Google Maps route (Esplanda that becomes Ses Moreres - RT Bastió that becomes Deià that becomes s'Arravaleta - RT Placa del Princep) is a relatively easy walk from the bus terminal with hourly civic buses from the airport. (Excellent airport facilities at Mahón. The public island bus service - pay by cash - is great for all of Menorca!) Unfortunately, no coffee maker in Jume rooms. You can pay a euro for a teabag or instant coffee in the lobby (free cookie!) or take your own tea/coffee, use the lobby kettle & return to your room by the elevator. I used the hotel website to book. I definitely recommend Jume-Urban Rooms.

I booked a room for a single person and I was upgraded to a nice double room with a small patio. The place was amazing and affordable. Good location and great service. If you need a value for money place to stay, this is the place for you. I tried their breakfast too and I guess it was not too bad if you are short of time or in a rush to explore Mahon.

Nice room, very clean, helpful staff. Good budget choice. Well positioned for Mahon and the port. I’d definitely go back if I return to Mahon. Run out of stuff to say now but need to make 200+ charac.

Hostal Jume is a comfortable and welcoming space. Everywhere was clean and well thought out. It is not luxurious and this is reflected in the fair pricing. It was great value for money. The hotel is located within easy walking distance from Mahon centre and also the great restaurants in the harbour. I would recommend this to any solo traveller looking to save money.

The Hostal is fairly basic, but comfortable and quiet to use as a base for exploring. Right next to the market and really close to fish market and town so you can browse, eat and people watch to your hearts. The hostel offers a great breakfast for great price 7 Euro. If you are exploring town or want to hop on buses to explore island then this is a great stop.

The rooms are clean and simple, the beds comfortable, staff pleasant and the location is central but therefore quite urban and only a few of the rooms have great views. I stayed bed and breakfast for 7 nights and paid only €287including tax for a 'single' that had a double bed in it.The WiFi worked well with only one breakdown one evening. They arranged a special yogurt when I noticed that the regular yogurt had gelatin in. The range of things at breakfast was fruits, bread cheese ham and pastries. There was self made tea and good nespresso coffee. There is a very acceptable tapas bar just down the road in a square with views overlooking Mahon harbour. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and a municipal car park 5 mins walk away.

Clean, easy to find and great spot to centre yourself if having a weekend in Mahon. Our plane was four hours late making our arrival after midnight but they were easy to contact and stayed open for us. Only complaint , doors bang loudly! But would happily stay again.

Central in a smal lane with a bar in the same building which is closing around 11pm. Nice breakfast room and a good variety of food. Unfortunatly Nespresso-Cafe. Small rooms but good for a short stay. Friendly and helpfull staff.

An absolutely wonderful place to stay if you are visiting Mahon for a few days. It is right in the center of everything and less than a minutes walk to the bustling market which has a plethora of bars & coffee shops. The staff couldn't have been more welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the internet was very good (my wife had a job interview over Skype whilst we were away and the quality was perfect). If I was to go back Mahon I would definitely stay here again. The hotel would also be perfect if you were on a cycling or waking holiday.
