Had a very enjoyable family meal with our 3 primary aged boys and it was pleasing to see them clear their plates of good sized portions without any of the usual moaning about the food being different. The youngest even said the chicken goujons were the 'best ever'. Everyone had desserts, with two kids opting for adult dishes and clean...

Idyllic location which is what we wanted. Friendly staff in charming pub offering reasonable menu choice and tasty breakfast but would suggest accommodation is in need of redecoration & bathrooms require updating. Shower not at all powerful. Warm, light & airy room which was Clean & comfortable but not for those with any mobility problems as stairs are steep &...

We stopped at the Old Ferrie for a quick lunch whilst walking the Wye river path. The staff were pleasant and served us quickly and efficiently. Our cold platters, all served on breadboards, and variations on the traditional "ploughman's", were excellent and even accommodated my gluten free requirements. The views over the river are quite stunning and I can heartily...

We popped in here after a walk today and thought we would have a few drinks and some lunch. When we asked for menus we were told it was an hour wait which we said we were fine with, we were then told that they had too many bookings coming in and wouldn't be served then either. We were a...

Ye Old Ferrie Inn is set in a picture postcard location on the banks of the gently flowing River Wye. It is absolutely stunning. The inn as the name suggests is old. It is full of character and full of characters! The staff are wonderful, the beers is very good and the food is excellent. The stairs are creaky and...

Had a fantastic day at Ye Olde Ferrie Inn with Jamie and the staff. Tried paddle boarding with Holly the instructor who was fab and had lots of patience even when we fell in!! Also had some food and drinks which were lovely. Would definately recommend you pay a visit

The room and bathroom were of a good size. The staff were very friendly and there was an excellent breakfast menu. We would definitely stay at the Ferrie Inn again. Also there were some nice walks near to the inn.

The location is right on the Wye. Ideal friendly and comfortable place to stay for fantastic river and hillside walks, or activities on the water. The staff are lovely, rooms comfy, the food great and the locals are a hoot, very hospitable folk. Good selection of ales.

I am usually a positive reviewer but this place is a missed opportunity. Great location has led to a complacent and unhelpful team who, without exception behave as though customers are an inconvenience. The food is fair, but the service is poor. The manager (small thin chap who stands outside the front door smoking) clearly sets the culture which allows...

Simple rooms but clean with tea and coffee making facilities and lovely views. Very friendly staff and the whole place is a charming location right on the river. Excellent breakfast too. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
