The breakfast is absolutely great. Very friendly owners and the bedroom has all you need. Communication was very good when booking for the room. Very close and central to the locations we want to visit.

I stayed 3 nights to attend an event in York and I wanted peace and quiet during the night, rather than staying in the city. I slept extremely well in the comfortable bed. The room was spacious and well-appointed; the shower was great. The whole house is bright and welcoming; the use of a separate lounge was welcome and helpful....

This B&B is a little gem! Hidden away in the village of Riccall, it's nicely placed to visit York, Selby and the surrounding countryside. Viv and Steve Sharp (The owners) are very welcoming. Lovely rooms. Great breakfast all freshly cooked and to finish off you can choose from their award winning jams and marmalade! What could be a nicer way...

Ecellent B&B. Nice house with lovely furnished rooms, enough space and above the ordinary continental bathroom standard. Good quality of full english breakfast or continental alternative. Viv and Steve were friendly host.

White Rose Villa was a wonderful B&B. Exceptionally clean and a very comfortable bed. The room and bathroom were a little on the small side but perfectly fit for purpose. Breakfast in the morning was exceptional again, absolutely delicious!

Situated in a quiet pretty village, this B&B offers a warm friendly welcome, lovely room quality and a smashing breakfast at a very reasonable price. If you don't mind being a little out from York this is definitely worth a visit, relax and enjoy.

We stayed here during a trip to Britain in July 2014. We had an awful time getting accommodation near York because of the Yorkshire bike festival (yes, I was stupid enough not to equate this to the Tour de France) but Steve and Viv helped us out, even though there were five of us (myself, my wife, gran and two...

We stayed here for a few nights whilst attending a near by motorsport event. We arrived later than expected but still received a warm welcome and shown to our room which was very nice. Overall high standards throughout including a spacious room, a nice super clean en suite and a great cooked breakfast each morning. This will definitely be our...
