The room was dirty. Bathroom full of hairs/dust. The coffee machine was disgusting, glasses dirty/lip marks. Bathroom is also in desperate need of refurbishment. The only positive was the bed was comfy. We stayed for 2 nts. The first breakfast was not great. Sausages were very under cooked, beans cold and watery. The second day was slightly better but my husband had to complain about his egg and even after sending a new egg, it was still not right. Frustrating. The restaurant window sills on the inside were absolutely disgusting, need major clean! Full of crumbs/dead flies. As were the grooves in the wooden tables. Very disappointing hotel, didn't look like the photos. We won't be back. When we told reception our room was dirty we got no apology. Also the door stop in bathroom was missing rubber so my husband scraped his ankle on it twice. Also when I read pets are welcome I figured it would be in certain rooms. Clearly not as I had terrible allergies whilst staying in this room and being asthmatic this can be quite dangerous. You need to make this more clear on the website. This is not not good enough Crown hotel. It was such a pleasure to move on to the Premier Inn which was excellent in comparison. ☹️☹️…

What a shame, pictures on the website look really good, I'm sure the rooms that have been done up are OK, sadly room 8 isn't one of them. Hair in the sink, hair left In the shower, hair in the corner of the bathroom on the floor, no rubber on the end of the doorstop and they hurt when you step on it. Couldn't use the coffee machine as the bit that holds the water was minging, didnt fancy using the glasses for the water as one still had someone else's lipstick on it, mattress was so soft it could have been 20 years old. Breakfast wasn't much good either, under cooked sausage and bacon and a hard fried egg, when my wife explained that she has an egg allergy, the guy assured her that the sausages she gluten free , well that's ok then, good to see they take allergies so seriously. When we told the girl on reception about the condition of the room, she just said she would inform housekeeping, no apology, couldn't care less. Safe to say we won't be back.…

Had a great stay here, room was nice & clean and had a great night's sleep! Staff were friendly & check in/out was very easy and simple to do. We met the manager Simon and he was lovely and made sure everything was good with our stay! Will definitely be back when in the area again!

We stayed here for one night while attending an awards dinner nearby. Beautiful room & had a fab night's sleep. Very easy to book direct on their website too & when I phoned to ask a question, Simon the manager was very happy to help and accommodate us! Will definitely be back!

Me and my teenage son stayed this month, room was lovely except I had booked a twin and got a double with a pull out bed. We made the most of it hut was expecting two singles. The staff at breakfast were quite rude and abrasive, they were on the verge of rude, had to ask myself where I can sit and no explanation as too how the breakfast worked, but to every other family they were polite and helpful Nice food, comfy rooms but the breakfast staff could do with being a little more welcoming

Just popped into The Crown Hotel, Chertsey for a drink and some no nonsense food for a couple of hours. I had ham, egg and chips my partner Mel had a cheese sandwich and chips. Excellent tasty food and my pint of "Proper Job" ale was superb too. Melanie had some lovely cloudy cider. The bar staff were extremely friendly and attentive and the interior is very tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Its a lovely old building too. We felt like it was a home from home ! Thanks very much will have to stay in the Hotel some time. Cheers, Andy

Fantastic hotel. We had a BRILLIANT stay and would 100% come back! Staff were friendly, rooms were clean and beds comfy. The parking was really easy and code access on the gate made it easy to come/go.

EVERYONE MUST VISIT!!! Some friends and I chose to meet up in the crown. It did not disappoint. We ordered loads of bar snacks and multiple drinks from the bar, which were all lovely. All of the staff are so friendly Sasha, David and Vicki really are stars. We will definitely be back soon. It’s more expensive than other pubs in the area but you really get what you pay for. Also the dog Molly is so lovely and friendly.

We spent the day at LEGOLAND and had booked to stay here for the 1st time. When we got here it such a lovely high end feel to it, we were greeted by Amy at the reception desk and she was amazing so friendly and so polite 100% customer service. We ordered our food and didn’t have to wait that long, the manager Simon came over to greet us and had a lovely chat with us,food came ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC pudding amazing. Having 2 tiered and full children and very tiered parents we went to our room and it was lovely bed was big and comfy, bathroom clean and tidy, the boys beds were made up, all ready for us to put our heads down and have an amazing sleep. Morning breakfast amazing pastries and fruits galore to choose from and at such a reasonable price,also this pub/hotel is dog friendly so if you have your fur babies they are very welcome. We highly recommend this amazing place thank you for a lovely amazing 1st and not going to be our last stay .…

Called in earlier this week and was met with a warm and pleasant welcome by the staff. Also met Simon who greeted us and took time to speak to us about the area. This is a very nice place to go and we would say if you get chance call in. Highly recommended for the food and hospitality from the staff.
