We booked this hotel for a weekend away to visit family Very clean and tidy Staff made us very welcome very knowledgeable and advised where to eat and places to visit will be looking at booking in the near future
Dirty, noisy, hot, noisy, stuffy, noisy, smelly and noisy doss house. Terrible, uncomfortable and totally sleepless night kept awake by morons talking outside our window literally all night long until gone 5am. Zero consideration for anyone and no staff to do anything about it. No way of contacting reception. Room was stuffy and way too hot with a window that only opens about 5 inches. Avoid this place at all costs!!!!
personally we would never advise others to stay at the chertsey hotel no shower gel in bathroom stained and dirty carpets waste left outside guests room and then moved into the entrance hall and left against the wall general condition was very poor will not be returning there at all ever
I made the mistake of staying at the Travelodge in Chertsey this week, and it was a terrible disappointment. The place has deteriorated beyond repair, and needs to be closed and completely refurbished in order to continue trading, in my opinion. I have several complaints. First, I had to pay an extra 10 pounds for 'early check-in', which, considering the general rise in the price of the rooms here, I consider to be unjustified. The bathroom in my room (112) appeared to be clean but smelled of urine and raw sewage for the entire duration of my one night stay, indicating a problem with the drains. There was no soap in the dispensers, which, considering Covid, is unsanitary. I had to keep the bathroom door closed at all times and the window ajar in order to stand breathing in there. The room was stuffy and the carpet was out and out dirty. I didn't want to walk on the carpet with bare feet at all. The mattress was bowed and the pillows past their best. The remote for the television worked, but the back of it fell off. The guy in the next room was noisy and disturbed me several times over the course of the night. Staffing of the hotel was minimal and there was no one to complain to. I won't be using the Chertsey Travelodge again in the future and if anyone asks, I will not recommend it either.…
Toilet had poo all over it at arrival, bathroom floor dirty, bathtub filthy. Bed had staines on it, bins are not emptyed on daily basis or room cleaned, we did complained about the cleaning of the bathroom and nothing was done, we complained that soap containers where empty, they said they would come and fill it, but wasnt done, shocking no help at all, one staff member trying to do everything. Would not recommend or will be using this hotel again.
