My girlfriend and I had our best time at this hotel. We know the island pretty well by now and this is our favorite location to get around from. The view overlooking the bay is amazing and at a walking distance from our favorite restaurants but most of all, our balcony was favored with a constant breeze of fresh air that was very much appreciated on hot days. Rooms are very thoughtfully arranged, excellent privacy and hospitality.

i booked this place based on reviews on this site and hotels site. But now most review somehow gone from this site and hotels site would not let me post review. Note this hotel charges credit card directly when making reservations from booking sites. Some reviews mentioned what a wonderful host Jean-Dominique is. When i stayed there he was nowhere to be found. There is some some strange young woman who has no idea how to run hotel. First of all it is not a hotel and not even B and B. Basically someone rents rooms in his/her residence. i would check if this place has any liability insurance. When i arrived i was given piece of paper informing me that check out is at 10 am and all requests for late check outs must be submitted and approved in advance. When i showed her my reservation that clearly stated that check out at 11 am, she started screaming at me that booking website made mistake and i must leave at 10. I would strongly suggest reading extensive rules found in dresser. some of highlights. check out at 11 am. no alcohol purchased outside can be consumed inside. she collected 300 deposit against my credit card and searched garbage in my room on check out before she agreed to return deposit. there is extensive price list of all furnishings, wine, dishes, glasses, etc. each coffee pod costs 2.5 euro. this is all you need to know how expensive are furnishings and mini bar list. they dont clean during your stay. You have to clean kitchen and if they dont like how kitchen is cleaned they charge 35. housekeeping person shows up with unleashed aggressive dog. view of harbor they show is mostly from balcony. nearest beach is 20 minute walk but anything nice is 45 minutes uphill walk. you walk on tiny roads with cars and scooters, very dangerous. island has only 1 taxi you must book days in advance. room safe is not attached to any walls. there is no security of any kind. while door to grounds is locked and you need code, anyone can just open door from outside as you can put hand thru the gate. i did not see any police on this island. you have to make picture of everything so they dont blame you for broken furnishings. and then i have no idea how you prove credit card that you did not break or steal anything if this place decides to hold your deposit. and this is not three stars, i got 2 tiny pillows, backpacker quality, no rain drop shower, no coffee cups for regular coffee, no water after one person takes shower, no soundproofing, you can hear your neighbors. there is no restrictions on scooters, you will hear them all day and night. blankets are being used my multiple guests and not properly protected. there are multiples holes in ceiling that probably were suppose to be lights, but it is strange. No premium cable channels as mentioned on their website. tiny pool. that screaming manager speaks no english. there is no smoking anywhere on a grounds, people smoke outside on busy road with cars and scooters and no light. I got sick during my stay and send "manager" multiple emails asking for late check out as my ferry was leaving in afternoon. She never replied to me. Only after i asked local restaurant to contact her she agreed to allow me to stay for 2 additional hours for 30 euros, while they had a lot of availability for this day. their 9.4 rating can't be possibly be true…

Our island has all the necessary means to move you ... walking, cycling, scooters, electric cars and several taxis will always be available to make you dream ... Fort Napoléon, beaches, restaurants, shops are the leitmotif of Saintois life and bring the happiness of tourists. It is unfortunate that our Residence and our island do not match you. Very good stay. Nice pool, although a bit cold in the mornings. Les Saintes is a very nice place, and from this hotel you are a few minutes away from "downtown". Very nice and big room, and we enjoyed eating on the balcony. Fully equipped kitchen.

I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights with my husband and two children. The reservation process was seamless. The hotel is brand new, pristine clean, and all amenities are of high quality. I would have liked more storage to arrange our clothes but I understand it is in the works as the hotel is still getting finished. The mini bar and the wine offering is a nice surprise. The owner was super attentive to guests needs. I would come back for sure!
