Breathtaking views. Warm, friendly staff. Amazing food. Incredible drinks. Peace, kindness, beauty and calm mark our multiple stays at this hotel. The infinity pool is incredible at 4 pm in the afternoon after the days adventures with a margarita in hand. Cannot highly recommend enough.

We went for lunch in this place is going to be one of the most beautiful, modern gorgeous locations with the best reviews anywhere in Costa Rica. The service was excellent, the food was very good, and the drinks were top-notch.

I have never experienced such luxury and beautiful accommodations before visited Casa Chameleon. The views are absolutely breathtaking and the service is even better. We stayed for four days and felt completely at home the entire time. The staff was incredibly welcoming and always going over and beyond to make our time there special. We stayed in room 14 and I couldn’t recommend it more. The housekeeping staff was absolutely amazing and did a great job not only tidying up our room each day but also doing a turn down service with tea and little desserts. There was not one thing about our stay we would change. This was our favorite stay we have ever had and I would encourage anyone traveling to Costa Rica to book a stay at this beautiful hotel.

This restaurant nestled along the golden coast in the Las Catalinas sector offers us the best of Costa Rican sunsets. The cocktails are original and delicious, the service is impeccable and the design of the place is stunning. The lunch menu offers few choices but the dishes are very good. I recommend the mahi-mahi fish tacos.

From the moment you arrive to the second you leave you are always greeted with a smile and the staff ready to meet your needs. The food at both restaurants is phenomenal and the views that come with it are immaculate. This was our honeymoon and they made such an impression on us. I loved that the resort was an intimate smaller setting as it never felt over crowded and was easy to make friends with other couples staying here. We hope to come back in the future and visit again.

Oh my goodness! Casa Chameleon is the most romantic place my husband and I have stayed at and we’ve been all over the world. The staff is exceptional especially Herlan, Victor, Margarita and Rose! First class service for sure! The rooms are tastefully done and the room pools are amazing. This is a great place for couples to fall in love or fall in love all over again. The restaurant is incredibly good and the views at sunset in the lounge are amazing. Beautiful sunsets for sure. We’ve been twice and plan to make this an annual trip. There’s so much to see and do and the hotel will make just about anything happen. We are sad to be leaving but we made some new friends and can’t wait to visit again next year!! Thank you everyone at Casa Chameleon for making our trip so memorable!!!!

We stayed 6 days celebrating our 20th Wedding Anniversary. All of the previous reviews of the resort are right - this is a lovely property with absolutely drop dead gorgeous views, and amazing private rooms with plunge pools. The staff are incredibly attentive, friendly, and go above and beyond to make you stay all it can be. The food at the hotel was tasty and generally good (certainly in comparison to food in town), although not everything on the breakfast menu is included despite what they say (you can get black coffee, but a cappuccino is a separate charge; seemed to be the same for tap water vs bottled water). That said, the construction noise is a real distraction, but it varies depending on your room and what construction activities are being done. We initially had a sunset villa room #8 low on the hill (the reviews about the stairs are true - if you have mobility issues, ask for something higher up); the first couple of days the construction wasn’t bad - a mild nuisance at worst; we were at the beach or on tours during the day, and it was all but done when we got back in the afternoon (3:30/4). The last couple of days, however, they started drilling and it became unbearable; started at 7a and went until 5/5:30p (including Saturday). The lower sunset rooms (7 & 8) are also where some of the construction materials are stored, so around those villas is pretty unsightly (but the oceanview is amazing). While this was going on, up the hill was quiet and peaceful. Eventually, we’d had enough and complained. To their credit (and consistent with their ethos) They moved us to a villa suite almost instantly (#15); it didn’t have the sunset, but had amazing views and was much, much quieter. We stayed by our pool all of the last day and it was great. The biggest problem was the construction being done at the adjacent site; there is endless construction in the town, but that was less of an issue. Lastly, having travelled a fair bit in the Caribbean and Mexico, we found Costa Rica to be much pricier by comparison - and Las Catalinas was even more pricey than the other sites we visited. The food at the hotel was easily the best in the town, but cheap eats was hard to come by.

This was a once in a lifetime experience for us that we will remember forever! We came to casa Chameleon for a wedding mid July, and it was one of the most beautiful hotels with absolutely breathtaking views from every angle. The staff is extremely friendly as soon as you walk in and always smile and greet you whenever you walk by. Hernan and the whole staff made sure we were well taken care of while we were there, and we really appreciated how kind they were. The food and the coconut rum drink were AMAZING! Also they have the coolest pool ever!! We hope to come back in the future! Thank you to the amazing staff!

Spectacular! Casa Chameleon at Las Catalinas is a dream destination. The views are phenomenal and out-of-this-world stunning, the staff were very friendly and professional, the food in Sentido de Norte and La Pampa Grill were delicious! The fruits were fresh and tasty, and our sunset villa was just perfect. My girlfriend booked us a massage in our villa and that was amazing. Marcela and Paula did a great job and we felt extra relaxed after the massage. Shoutout to Dany and Kevin from the reception area who were very friendly and hospitable. The sunset in this place is jaw dropping and the whole vibe of this place is ethereal. This has become a very special place for us and will be coming back in the future. Shoutout to Blas, Eyner, Carlos, Randy and honestly, I forgot a few names but everyone was amazing! Easily, a 5 out of 5.
