Situated close to Dundee, Sneezewood is very well located to visit the battlesites (Anglo-Boer and Zulu) in the area. Set on a farm, the rooms are in a self-contained building with its own kitchen. Beautifully clean, nicely decorated and well presented, it is extremely comfortable. Owner Paul does the 'front of house' and is very good company at breakfast and... More

What an excellent spot! In Dundee for a business trip, and I find this wonderful guest house. Paul, the host, is helpful, friendly and an all-round nice guy! Great food, excellent company around the table!

We arrived here after a 26 hour nonstop from Heathrow. Upon arrival we were greeted by the the manager who not only settled us in speedily but also set us up for a personal guide for my dream tour of Isandlwhana with my partner with 12 hours notice. Needless to say, we felt welcomed. The lodge is utterly beautiful with... More

Sneezewood Bed and Breakfast is a beautiful farm cottage. We were so blessed to have the whole place to our party of 4. The host was unbelievable in his knowledge of the the surrounding areas as well as Dundee the town. We visited the battlefields from here and it was a perfect drive from here. The breakfasts were more than... More

From the moment you arrive Sneezewood provides excellent personal service in five star surroundings. We stayed for two nights while we visited the battlefields of the Zulu war. The nearby town of Dundee is a great centre for day trips to many famous battle sites like Isandlwana, Rorkes Dift and Spionkop. Our local guide provided transport for our group and... More

What a great stay. Quality and comfort is the least that can be said of this marvelous little place. Situated just outside of town, this is a peaceful haven that made me want to stay at least one more night. This was an entirely wonderful experience. I honestly can't point out anything negative.

Warm welcome, great dinner, good wine and an exquisite room. The perfect place for a good night's rest and a lekker chat. Try their egg-in-a-nest breakfast. Out of this world. What a pity we had to leave the next morning. Ideal spot for a weekend a way. Highly recommended!

What more could you want than a quiet location, comfortable rooms, a delicious dinner, an exceptional breakfast served by the host, and an "honour" system for a fridge full of well chosen wine?? Well, actually.... Paul and Karen took the trouble to find a left-behind jacket, arrange to send it on by courier to another hotel, chase it up when... More

We booked the self-catering cottage which we found to be very spacious, spotlessly clean and very well appointed. Dundee is only a short drive so getting supplies for self-catering was not a problem. We could not fault the comfort of the beds or the bathroom facilities. We had two shower rooms and a large corner bath. There was a large... More
