The management and staff at Kijongo are just great and provide personal, tailored service. Their cuisine is the best I enjoyed in Tanzania during a trip across the country. The pool is good. Privacy and relaxation are ensured by the resort's small scale and limited activity in the area.

We most definitely try to tailor our guests' holidays according to their particular tastes, in keeping with our ethos of a relaxed beach holiday in beautiful and natural surroundings. Your family was a pleasure to serve. Welcome back anytime.

Amazing and rare place for beach holidays far away from Tanzania-s mass tourist tracks. Calm and relaxing. The mangrove ecosystem close by has a lot of potential for guided tours that help sensitize and inform locals and tourists on their importance for the marine ecology and economy. Tanzania-s tourism stakeholders need to invest more in sustaining mangroves and corals.

We stayed with our young daughter and were welcomed and looked after by all the staff. The accommodation is spacious and well maintained with a great outlook. I visited here with three other couples, each of us had toddlers. Kijongo Bay welcomed us with cold towels, delicious juices and smiling faces. The stay only went up from there. The rooms are cool, spacious and stylish. I would especially note the amazingly comfortable pillows - I normally hate hotel pillows! The setting is magical. Every morning we went...
