The hotel is situated beautifully overlooking the Nile river. From the hotel it is just 700m from the point you take the cruise to see the Falls, Crocodiles and Hippos. It is also very close to the gametracks in Murchinsson Falls. We arrived on a saturday afternoon. And was pleasantly surprised by a huge BBQ, with Ugandan entertainment. The food...

The setting is simply amazing and this alone should be enough to convince you to stay in this lodge. Staff is very helpful and nice. The premise has its small setbacks; a rather whimsical WiFi which is only available in the lobby and water leaks in the bathroom (we had two rooms and both came with the same issue!). Buffet...

We set off from Kasese at 5am and I'm glad we did. My friends told me it would be a 6 hour drive, but it took 11 hours and an epic journey. Next time I'd drive to Kampala and then to Paraa and not got via Hoima. 150km off road was a little too much, especially given the rains and...

Excellent lodge in pristine Murchison Falls National Park. The rooms are very spacious, and the food simple awesome. The customer service at this lodge is simply 5 star, you are treated like royalty. The lodge has it own safari vehicles and knowledgeable safari guides if you are here on a self drive safari. Paraa safari lodge and Murchison Falls National...

What an amazing place!!! Wow! Could not ask for better service from the food to the room and the safari tour guide - all staff were helpful and friendly. The scenery is beautiful! Only stayed one night but would recommend staying two (or more). Saw lots of wildlife on the safari and boat cruise. Make sure you have a camera...

Great boat rides too for sites and sounds of different bird species, hippopotamus, crocodiles, water bug and more! Well Chobe set high expectations for Paraa. It felt like I was comparing the Serena and Grand Imperial and cancelled my plans to spend the night after the lengthy beautiful game drive and nasty UWA officials at the gates. Paraa's food and...

All my six children felt like they were in another home. Everything from food, drinks, cleanness and care were perfect. The Swiming pool is very good for all...

The Paraa has wonderful views over nile and is in a perfect position to explore Murchison. The staff and fantastic and the food is good, the only thing that lets it down is the rooms which are well overdue a refurbishment. It is a real shame as the hotel could be stunning, but is really just average.

This nice lodge is located near the River Nile, in the right side of it. Due to human activity animals are more frequently spotted on Paraa side of the river. It has different kind of room. We were in a standard room in front of the swimming pool. Cleaned, comfortable bed and nice bathroom. It is a very good starting...
