This resort is so beautiful and right near the beach, you can hear the waves from your room at night...when the ride is right can surf right out your door early to mid afternoon. We had such an amazing honeymoon thanks to the clean rooms, food and staff who are practically like family to us now after staying for a...

Beautiful place in the middle of nowhere. Once you are here, and yes the drive in is long, it's just divine. Staff are friendly and helpful. Taught us some more Spanish. Food wonderful and owner very out going and friendly. The beaches - endless. Nice pool and great room. Funky shower but lots of fun. Know that the water has...

The location is great if you are looking for a nice, out of the noisy din of city life. The beach is large, clean, and not many people are there; and you can walk for a long time without running into anyone. The rooms are romantic, island style bungalows that make it seem like you have your own place there...

The rooms were beautiful and the setting was stunning! It was nice to have the option between the hotel pool and the beach just across the road! I would not hesitate to return to Clandestino Resort and to recommend it to anyone travelling to Costa Rica.

Amazing, beautiful tropical paradise. The cabanas are gorgeous with every amenity. The location is remote and isolated with a stunning, private Pacific beach. The sand is dark grey and as fine as sugar. The beach stays perfectly clean. Our hosts were magnificent with a friendly, capable staff ready to fulfill every whim. The gorgeous, open dining room is the perfect...

Even though this resort is a little out the way, what a beautiful place! A warm welcome received and introduction to the resort. I went in the 'off' season so it was very quiet but that just meant we had free run of the place. Hotel rooms are very clean, well appointed and honestly could ask for more. Very spacious...

This is my second time there, the owners seem to constantly improve the rooms, grounds and beach area. Overall the resort is beautiful and really laid back, food is excellent and the included breakfast was very good, looking forward to my next stay.

one of a kind place, beautiful, quiet, and restful. Away from all the business, not much to do and a little hard to get to. Takes a while if you want to visit somewhere. Great place to just stay and relax. You can relax poolside or walk along the beach. Almost no one on the beach. Food is wonderful, great...

This was our second time on the Clandestino, and my wife and I absolutely loved it. It is pretty secluded, you have the beach almost to yourself, so you can relax in a quiet environment. The rooms are great, very good attention to the detail. The food was very good also. Will surely return.

This was our 5th hotel on our stay in Costa Rica. It is a bit remote so expect seclusion but the grounds, pool, rooms and ocean are very tranquil. Relaxing is a good description. The restaurant is a bit pricy but it is comparable to others we have been in. We brought beer from the local supermarket and there was...
