We booked a last-minute two nights at Fidelito while driving from Tamarindo to the Southern Nicoya peninsula and consider ourselves extremely lucky for having come across the place, with its unique setting, ideal location, wonderful hosts, and reasonable prices, certainly if compared to other options in Santa Teresa and Malpais. As a working ranch in the hills above Tambor coast,...

I have to say that this was one of our most unique and pleasant vacation stays. We always look for quaint and economical places to stay, and we found just that. The cabins/rooms were huge and beautiful, the location is not the easiest to get to but well worth it. The owners were really the best, we only stayed for...

Our stay at Fidelito was very comfortable and Brigit and Leon did everything to make our stay beautiful. They are such nice people. Our appartment had our own terrace, overlooking the jungle. And there is a central place to hang out. Leon is ful with great stories about his travels around the world. And Brigit helps you with everything to...

What a great place to be at! Leon and Brigitte make it real personal, showing our kids how to milk a cow, great conversations and good tips on what to do and see. Accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable.

My room was huge...

Brigette and Leon are lovely hosts. Our room was bright and spacious with a little kitchen area and a peaceful deck. We ordered dinner for our first night and thereafter found great little restaurants and sodas. From the ranch we were able to visit Curu Park twice, for hiking and swimming in incredibly warm water; Cabo Blanco Sanctuary for hiking...

We were pleasantly surprised as the photos do not do this place justice. This place is gorgeously landscaped and the rooms were some of the nicest we stayed in while in Costa Rica. The entire place smelled of jasmine and ylang ylang. We got to watch a family of monkeys living in the surrounding trees. The hosts were interesting to...
