It's a decent hotel. We liked the warm interior, it's gives a good feeling. We slept well on these beds and the bathroom had everything we needed including a good shower. The breakfast had many choices, so every morning it was a party to go to the breakfast. The only disadvantage are the churchbells that woke up us up early in the morning (before 6.00).

Wasn't quite sure where to visit and which hotel to stay in till a friend mentioned this area and hotel. Thus the title of review . Well situated hotel just a short walk to the main area of the main street and the old town with all the shops and restaurants. Our room was spotless , large bed (two singles put together), bedding changed every three days. All the extras , hairdryer, potions and lotions, mini bar(chargable) safe and plenty of hangers.Shower and toilet spotlessly clean , constant hot water and all the extras like gels and hairdrier, and an abundance of assorted sized towels , changed whenever need, Balcony two chairs and a table. The only complaint I had was the balcony , there was a big gap between next doors balcony partition and ours , so you had to sit at the back so as not to noticed, if you wanted privacy, like most do. Restaurant ...Breakfast buffet and there was plenty of choice of hot and cold dishes, sometimes not as hot as I would have liked, plus fresh fruit, juices, cereals, breads etc.Overall a good spread. Evening was also buffet with plenty of choices. We only visited once as plenty of options in the town as we like to try different places.Reception staff were very helpful and would do anything they could to make your stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay again if in the area.

Hotel staff is very nice and professional and helpful. Rooms and other facilities are very clean. Breakfast and dinner buffet were excellent. We have never experienced such a nice food in hotels which offer buffets. A bar which is a part of the hotel offers very good cocktails and cakes. The only thing which is slightly not so good is that the Hote's area considering as a beach is a little bit away from the water. But that's not a huge problem, you just have to walk a 50 m to come to the water but you are not aloud to put hotel's beach beds directly there. If we go to Omis again, we will for sure stay at the same hotel.

As a family of four this was our first trip to Croatia and we were not disappointed. The people are courteous and tolerant. Although my attempts at speaking some Croatian words fell short of the mark, the vast majority of staff everywhere spoke English to a good standard to compensate. The daytime temperatures ranged from 30 to 37 degrees C, so warm, but not difficult to deal with, particularly as the sea was so close by. The hotel was excellent, our rooms were clean and air conditioned, the staff very helpful, the food wonderful (we stopped half-board) and the location was perfect for Omis, the beach and to pick up excursions. Overall very happy and wouldn't hesitate to recommend, the place and the hotel. Our only gripe, was the bus service to Makarsca, attempted it 3 times and never made it. Forget the timetable, we waited for an hour on 3 different days and times and it only turned up once and then we couldn't get on the bus as it was too busy. Shame because the bus to split (No.60) was frequent and reliable, traffic allowing. One final comment, out flight was delayed by two hours and we consequently arrived later than expected at 11.30pm. After a brief explanation of the hotel's arrangements the receptionist told us they had prepared a light meal for us. We went into the restaurant to find a table set for 4 with cold meats, salad, examples of local dishes, cheese, melon, bread rolls etc. We did our best but, barely made an impact on the four plate loads. I wonder if we'd turned up two ours late to a hotel in the UK at 11.30pm weather we would have received the same reception? Thanks for a lovely holiday Croatia.

Great hotel right on the beach and just a short walk to the lovely winding medieval street with lots of bars and restaurants to choose from. Our room was well appointed if a little small but had a lovely balcony with a sea view. Hotel was immaculate and staff always very helpful. Great restaurant with lots of choice at both breakfast and dinner. Only two negatives I would mention. I am surprised that a hotel of this size and quality doesn’t have a pool, even if it is on the beach and the biggest surprise of all is they charge to use their sun beds. I have been lucky enough to travel extensively over many years and have never been charged to use sun beds in the hotel I am staying at. Very strange. That being said, I had a fantastic time at the Plaza Omis and would have no hesitation in recommending it.

It was the bet hotel I have even been so far. It is easy to get from the airport to the hotel just by the bus. I took bus number 37 from airport Split to the main station in split and then bus number 60 to omis. It was like 4 minutes walking from the station to the hotel. When we arrived we got one free voucher for dinner at the hotel. It was nice surprise, the dinner was excellent, we could chose from loads of different kind of food, from chicken to fish, different salads, lasagnas, pastas, pizzas, vegetables. The room was super clean. It was first time when I arrive somewhere and I didn’t have this urge to clean everything before I use for example a shower or a toilet. The airco is working very good. There’s small fridge, towels, shower gel, soap. The stuff is very friendly. Finally when we didn’t ask for the room cleaning, nobody did it (I had it a lot of times when I hung the note “don’t disturb” somebody was walking in and cleaning anyway..) There’s jacuzzi at the hotel. Drinks and desserts are at the bar, prices are good, quality of the drinks are really great. Behind the hotel there is a beach with a bit sand on it, couple of bars so you can every time sit at the different place. It was very quiet at the hotel, specially in the night. I would really recommend this hotel to everyone, I am so glad I could come here!

Stayed here for a week in June and in all honesty it ticked all the boxes for what we needed therefore couldn't really fault this place at all. Ideally situated on the beach (grainy but clean and wonderful water, especially safe for young children) Staff were friendly and efficient and rooms were not the biggest but fine for a couple and 7 nights, also spotlessly clean. Definitely a recommendation for us

We stayed for a week in May before summer season so the hotel was quiet. We chose this hotel over the bigger sister hotel Plaza Duce for location as close to lots of restaurants and bars in the old town. We booked a superior room with balcony which we found quite small compared to other hotels. The other rooms with balconies appeared to be bigger? Our balcony was near to a busy road and school which was quite noisy. We stayed half board and we found the food to be one of the best we have had with good choice. We booked into the Restaurant next to the hotel, as guests get 50% off. We would highly recommend as the steak was one of the best we have had. We found the hotel lacked a nice seating area inside and out. There was an area outside but next to a busy road. We used the hot tub on the roof a couple of times which had lovely views. The best thing about the hotel was the location, food and rooftop hot tub.
