Very nice 4 night stay. Hotel is located in a quiet side street but only a few minutes walk to the center and to the beaches. Very clean rooms with a bottle of raki waiting on arrival and also some candy which was very nice. The owners are very friendly and helpfull. For breakfast (served outside on their lovely terrace)... This is not the Ritz so don't think it is a 5-star venue but please don't let that put you off. The hotel is relatively small (maybe 15-20 bedrooms and is located just off the town centre. Its a great location for both beaches and all the local bars and restaurants. It is family run and they are amongst the... More

This hotel is a simple, family-run place but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and is perfectly located in the centre of Paleochora, minutes from everything. For the price I wasn't expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised. Rooms were spotlessly clean with good, free wifi and air conditioning. Included in the room price was a choice... More

The Glaros is very good value, and unlike a lot of Greek hotels, includes the breakfast in the price of the room. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and adequate, and the shower was great.

A place to love, the owner and staff has a unique way of making you feel welcome and "at home". The hotel is close to everything. The breakfast is fantastic. This is the place we love to return to, and we will -next year and following years.

We only stayed for 1 night whilst visiting this beautiful town on one of our many trips around this island. The room was basic but pleasant and to have free air conditioning included in the price is a bonus. The breakfast is either Cretan or continental and is a pleasant surprise and varied. As for the orange juice that another... More

Aside from the lack of hot water in the mornings (which is standard for Greece) my only complaint was the charge added to my final bill for OJ. A suggestion for the servers and or owners......please inform your guests that orange juice is not included in the "free breakfast" advertised on your website. Such a small thing but quite honestly... More

Stayed for 1 nt in July. We enjoyed the location (50m from center of Paleochora, restaurants, super markets) . The cretan breakfast was simply awesome & a welcoming experience, different from the boring hotel breakfasts. The terrace where you could enjoy a beer or coffee, was a joy! Would return definitely for more!

Our experience with this little gem in Paleochora was "love at first sight". Small and cosy hotel located just behind the main street in amazing Paleochora, surrounded by trees and flowers. Rooms are clean and basic, yet nothing is missing, brand new air-condition and TV set. Continental or Cretan breakfast is served on the covered terrace, in a relaxing atmosphere.... More

I originally booked for two nights but stayed four. This is one of the best hotel values I've ever found. Beautiful landscaping, pleasant terrace, great location, hearty breakfast (choice of Cretan or continental), friendly and attentive family running the place, all for a more than reasonable price.
