The hotel is very beautiful, with special elements of decoration.
The restaurant, where we sat for lunch, offers quality and delicious food, at good prices.
We also visited the spa for massage, which was enjoyable, but we were disappointed by the pool and the jacuzzi. The indoor pool is very small and the jacuzzi was dirty. It literally had a slice everywhere and on the surface you could see brown pups... Shame...

We stayed at the Barracks for 4 nights at the turn of the year and had very good impressions. Having visited this particular complex several years ago but without staying the night then, we chose it for our New Year's getaway and it did not disappoint. The spaces and the decoration are dreamy, with fireplaces and many warm "corners" in various places to sit with your friends. Staff excellent in willingness and service. We especially appreciated the recognition of the staff's contribution to the operation of the hotel when the manager enumerated thanking all the employees one by one in preface to the New Year's celebration. Moreover, many employees seem to belong to the hotel staff for many years. The cleanliness of rooms and common areas exemplary (after the first night and while we were away from the room they contacted us by phone to ask if we really did not want the service to come since I had - by mistake - turned on the relevant indicator on the light board outside the room) .
I would like to make a special mention of the quality and variety of the dishes, both at breakfast and at the New Year's dinner.
A few negatives:
Some minor damages, especially in the bathrooms, are expected and unavoidable after 14 years of operation and do not spoil the overall excellent image.
I think that the option of installing individual jacuzzis in the rooms would make sense as a (luxurious) complement to a classic shower, not as a replacement for it.
The rooms do not have shutters and the curtains are not sufficiently opaque ("black-out"), as a result of which the sun wakes us up every morning (all rooms are east-facing). I guess the problem must be much more intense in the summer months.
We did not understand why the use of the gym is only allowed to people over 17 years old and not e.g. to over 14 years old.
I save for the end a complaint that I have from many mountain hotels in Greece: I find it unacceptable that you need to cover up to move inside the hotel, e.g. to go from the room to the living room or the spa, since there is an outdoor area. Some rooms communicate internally with the main corridor, but even for them there is a short distance that must be traveled outdoors to reach the lobby. In our stay we were lucky and the weather was good but what happens when it rains/snows/ices? Some covered passage should have been provided for this purpose.

Lovely hotel in a magnificent landscape. The rooms are very careful, clean and very beautiful.
The breakfast is rich, while if someone sits to lunch in the hotel’s restaurant they will taste flavors that they will remember for a lifetime.
At the bar Mr. Christos is one of the noblest people, with the smile and the intention to serve you to the fullest! He actually made us an amazing Irish cocktail ...that you should definitely try!!!

Visit Sunday afternoon we asked to eat sweet (visit with children). We arrived at 5&15 and we were informed that due to the event the sweets will be available from 6 and will inform us to order. We asked 3 times and the answer was not ready the chef. On 6 & 20 we decided to pay to leave and after we complained then they said that they could take an order while we had already gotten up to leave and we said that we would make a bad review. Obviously it is impossible to have an event and to run the cafe properly. Very bad handling from such a promising space.

We visited the hotel only for food. Great and warm space, Christmas decoration, nice focus in the middle and the staff polite. We ordered a day dish, a portion of pancetta, a salad, cheesecakes, a beer and a soda. We were full of the above, delicious dishes, fresh ingredients. We paid around 65€. I'd be comfortably back.

I usually visit other places on the lake, but for a change I visited the cafe of the hotel after many years and so many years will make me see again!!! And I explain: I decided to drink a coffee with a view of the lake. Um, I waited for half an hour (there were few tables that were easy to manage), for the waiter I was invisible, until 2 couples came in to sit at the opposite table. I was immediately surprised to see him take an order and the outrageous thing was that he then passed by my side, they looked in the eyes (in the meantime he had a disgusting look at me - the first time I saw him, we don't know each other) and while I was waiting to serve me, he passed by ignoring me flagrantly! Of course, I did not let it pass like this, I got up to complain about their unacceptable and selective service! They all had a surprise in their eyes as if they had no idea of the fact! I do not allow anyone to ignore me when in a common space we all went for the same job: to leave them our valuable money and honor them with our presence, which of course they will never see again!

Excellent stay!.. Impeccable service at all levels... The hotel areas are neat and clean... The kindness of the staff captivates you and the stay is simply wonderful! The landscape is magical in an environment ideally combined with it. Rich breakfast buffet... while we were impressed by the dinner and the creations of the chef... The spa area was complete relaxation... Indoor pool... Jacuzzi... Hammam and sauna. See you again!

Very nice hotel with many options, excellent lake views and kind staff. Ideal for holidays in the mountains regardless of the season as there is a swimming pool both indoor and outdoor! Very nice rich breakfast until 10:30 and excellent food in the restaurant and snack in the cafeteria! Definitely a chocolate soup for 2 people, fantastic!
