If you have a family it is the proper place to go at Portaria. Rooms with view and a fireplace. Nice breakfast and a playground. Only 5 mins from central square of Portaria. Easy parking. Very friendly personnel.
I stayed one more time in Pelion Resort, and I was happy to see that the service was the same high quality as the first time. Perfect breakfast with local goodies and handmade jams and pies. Very nice and clean room with a great view...More

The rooms in the hotel are big and also the shower, but there were a few problems with the safe, curtain and the air-conditioning that the hotel did not fix after we told them.

We stayed at the Pelion Resort last August and drove to 2 beaches. We loved the 2nd beach so much we went back again the next day. It is called Agioi Saranta also known as Monks Beach. We would go to the far end of the beach where there was a beach bar that rented 3 different kinds of chairs. We had the largest covered chairs with thick pads and also got a frappe and 1 liter of water in a bag with ice and 2 cups and we paid 9 euros for all that. The beach was very small pebbles that didn't hurt your feet and it turned into sand in the water, which was clear and beautiful. The drive was about an hour each way. The roads are winding and as you get closer to the coast they become very narrow as you weave through the villages. I could have spent the whole summer there.

"For me the best rooms are the corner rooms in the new wing towards the end of the hotel."
