The hotel is very nicely decorated and all new but for some reason, they decided not to put air-condition, not in the rooms and not in the lobby. It got very hot inside which made us go back only at night. In addition, the hotel is a short walk from the main road but the walk is very steep and...

The room was very comfy, the owner very polite, the hotel is new with a traditional architecture and the view is amazing. The parking is only for small jeeps but the puclic parking space is only 2 minutes away. Great for couples or families.

If you need a luxury home while you explore portaria volos that is the place. Everything is very well organised. Good privacy, slightly small issue with the sound proofness. You cannot park here, not recommended for people with disabilities. Service was perfect,Will come back for sure

Renting a room in a mountain village you are expecting the room is at least warm. We informed that the heat is about to open at 20.00 am and the temperature is 13oC. So you have to wear your jacket inside or covering up with bed sheets. Information that we didn't have in our check in. When we asked for...

Had the good fortune to stayhere last summer and vowed then to go back. Well, surprise, surprise, returning in a few months time. Wonderful, peaceful setting with panoramic views to die for. Best of all, however, is the hotel itself. Spotlessly clean, comfortable, relaxing and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and chill out. The...

David and the staff at the Lotus Tree could not have been more helpful from picking us up in Volos to taking us to our booked activities as we had decided not to hire a car. The hotel itself is stunning; so beautifully decorated and comfortable with views across to the mountains and sea that take your breath away. David...

If you visit Portaria, up the Pilion just outside of Volos (30mins by local bus) very cheap and easy, we reccomend you stay at The Lotus Tree. Perched on the edge of the mountain looking down to Volos is awesome, especially at sunset. From the moment you walk in you are made to feel welcome with a lovely host. The...

1st impression was bad, it was a serious hassle to schlep our luggage and we are in very good shape! it is a steep decline in a ruffly paved decline, one can easily lose his footing when carrying luggage if you are not careful Another surprise was that the entrance is in the back and it took some imagination to...

We spent there Easter holidays with our two children. Our room has view partially on the mountain and was overlooking pagasitikos gulf. It was of good size to accommodate three adults. The room had a small fridge and it was very clean. Room service was offered daily. The bathroom was very nice and of modern design. There were small kits...
