Unforgettable experience from stay to dinner until breakfast the next day.
The place conveys absolute peace, surrounded by Pecorino vineyards and the mountains of the Val di Sangro.
The poetry room is just a poem! It offers all possible comforts to spend hours in total relaxation and devote yourself to yourself. The common areas are very large, tastefully furnished, in minimal chic style.
To our amazement we were offered the chef table, a table directly in the kitchen, where we could watch the brigade do their usual work with mastery and exceptional tranquility. The dishes were sublime and the idea of combining each dish with a cocktail or a wine that enhances all the flavors was brilliant. Congratulations to chef Nico Romito for his genius and for welcoming us with open arms to his home. To top it off with a king's breakfast! We were served everything. Each dish was exceptional, but the one we will carry in our hearts is the namesake toast “Nico Romito”. There are no words to describe it, just emotions. Thanks again for everything we hope to see you soon!

I loved everything about this experience. I am not one who can afford such luxuries but I was travelling alone in Italy and when I saw that this gem was only a couple of hours away I booked a room in Castel de Sangro and booked into Casadonna Reale for the tasting menu.
I have always loved food and cooking, I often get annoyed when we go out to eat and I think - I could have cooked that, I definitely didn’t think that leaving here. I have no idea how these amazing chefs can do so many different processes with the same vegetable. Or get so much essence from a bay leaf to make a beautiful sauce. It was truly a magical experience for me.
The bread course was a phenomenon, I also make bread so to see a bread with such great crust, internal form and texture, slightly sour but savoury tasting - just wonderful.
My only regret is that I couldn’t finish the almond cake at the end (I had ate a lot of the bread at this point).
Travelling alone is one thing but eating alone is a totally different experience. At Cassadonna Reale I was made to feel so welcomed and comfortable, all the waiting staff had a smile, a kind word and a chat. It was lovely, I thank the waiter with the excellent moustache a lot for his recommendation of sights in Napoli to finish my trip.
Thank you all. It was a wonderful experience.

a 5-star experience in the royal suite, elegant furnishings with great attention to detail, very classy without being brash. Excellent quality bed and bath linen. A spectacular breakfast prepared by chef Niko Romito with great attention to local producers and the seasonality of fruit. to try

We booked 3 rooms and the vegetable tasting menu for Saturday dinner
We did not receive an entrée
The dishes were absolutely devoid of art, there was only the green of the vegetables. In the period of His Majesty the white truffle was not even a shadow and the same thing as porcini mushrooms for example. Disappointment also for the sweet ending. Some dishes returned to the kitchen practically intact, for example mushrooms with cloves... very bitter. The chef is absent and we were not informed.

I thanked my daughter for the gift but I would never have chosen this location and the stay confirmed me. Pleasant room but to be improved in attention to detail. Breakfast in the normal for those who have traveled the world.Unfortunately disappointing omelette presented white and slightly cooked.

We came all along from southern Germany to visit this place - and it was worth every mile of travel! Not only the restaurant offers a truly unique dining experience, also the whole structure is a stunning and unique place you should certainly visit, at least if you are into minimalistic stylish design. We had a blast - and being allowed to bring our 2 dogs along made it even more special. THANK YOU!

We visited Casadonna Reale in September 2018 as we were touring Italy from North to South.
We were looking forward to trying Chef Niko Romito's food in his 3* Michelin Star restaurant.
For sure out expectations were exceeded.
Everything was perfect, from the service, the environment, the facilities, and of course the Dining experience.
Casadonna is private, exclusive and peaceful with a total focus on quality and experiences that any hospitality and food lovers should experience at least once.

The room we had was adequate size, nicely decorated, and had a wonderful bathroom. High quality linens, nice large windows looking out to the surrounding park setting. And top it off with probably one of the best breakfast servings we have ever had. We would highly recommend! Especially if you are having dinner at Reale.

This is a three star place and it truly lives up to that promise. We had a fantastic dinner, but maybe the most memorable moment was breakfast. The rooms were great too, with hamam showers and an extraordinary roomy feel. I can recommend this to anyone.

I thought for the price this was at least a 4* hotel ........IT IS NOT!
None existent service
I had a suite........room size was OK.......But decor is minimalist? to my taste a collection of disassociated things
Worse was the room was EXTREMLY tired.......should have been redecorated years ago......grubby wet stained floors chipped paint everywhere ans sealent in bathroom with mold or what looked like it.
Wall painted by a blind man!
Not worth €100 a night............but view beautiful.
