Clean and fragrant room with daily linen change. In the morning, excellent and abundant breakfast with homemade desserts by Mrs. Paola. Very friendly owners, always available to customers. We stayed very well. We immediately felt at home. We will definitely return. Thanks to Mrs. Paola and Mr. Roberto and their very kind daughter Francesca who delighted us every morning with the cakes made by her mother.

Fantastic stay here at the Agriturismo Il Vecchio Pollaio. There are only good things to say about this place, clean rooms, fantastic food and the owners Roberto and Paola are the friendliest people around! The food, WOW, exceptional taste, all homemade by the Chef Paola, see my pics below. Roberto is an extremely unique, and passionate individual, he can actually give you all the names of the parts of an egg! All of the food that you eat here is fresh, raised and processed right at this Agriturismo! Love the area, the Agriturismo, Roberto and Paola; the owners!

Nice location and views, situated in a beautiful rural area. Very pleasant and welcoming hosts, although none speaks English. Rooms are nice and clean. Apart from eggs made to order, the breakfast was rather poor and disappointing, hardly any homemade products, nothing you would expect from a place that has the words "agriturismo" in its name... Wi-fi reception in the room was very bad, almost non existent. One has to walk to the lobby to get a signal.

Found on trip to spend a few days in Castel di Sangro and we must say that it was really nice to be in this place, surrounded by greenery, in absolute silence , well-kept and spotless rooms, hearty breakfasts with fresh desserts every morning and a fantastic eggnog (to order absolutely), congratulations to Mrs. Paola for her availability and kindness as well as for the great professionalism, hats off to a beautiful structure run superbly!
