In my opinion this hotel is not a four stars. The common areas are quite small and consequently ovrecrowded and noisy. Our room was an economy one OK, but it was very dated and needs to be renovated. Postif point the breakfast it was excellent. The hotel is definitely overpriced.

This was an amazing stay at the Hotel. They even helped us schedule a rapid covid test for our flight back to the US. The staff was amazingly helpful and knowledgeable. The rooms are contemporary and the sleep was restful. Breakfast was excellent and the pool was fun. I can't say more on how we enjoyed our 2 nights at the hotel. See you next time.

My 14 year old daughter and I visited this great hotel for a week. We visited the area for a weeks skiing. ~The hotel is an excellent base for skiing in the area. the hotel runs a ski bus through the day to the resort of Monte pratello. The hotel has a ski store and drying lockers to dry your kit overnight. We loved the extensive breakfast Buffet which was a great start to the day. All the staff were very helpful. Prior to our stay the hotel booked ski school for my daughter. The reception also helped me by booking restaurants for our evening meals. We did eat in the hotel restaurant for 3 evening meals. On each occasion we took advantage of the evening buffet which was excellent value at 15 euros which included salads, pizza, and desserts. I used the well equipped gym for one session. The hotel is very popular with families and there are a lot of young children it was lovely to see the kids have fun . A special mention to Paola and Elvira on reception who were so helpful and friendly. Thanks for our holiday.…

Decent rooms (go for the 'superior' ones), great breakfast, and very helpful staff. The spa is very good but NOT included and quite pricey (28 Euros pp for a 90 min visit). The hotel location is quiet, but it is a good 20 min walk from the city centre. Unfortunately the communal areas of the hotel can get extremely noisy, as the hotel seems to be popular with families - so we found our stay quite unrelaxing. Cannot comment on the restaurant as we didn't eat in.

I've stayed at Sport Village 2x now and both times are perfect. Thank you for your dedication to your customers and individual care. We had car problems with our rental car there and Paula was more than helpful to assist us with questions and our english speaking needs!

Visiting the area or passing by, the Sport Village Hotel is an excellent choice to relax and re charge. The hotel is clean, modern and the staff friendly and helpful. It is I bit out of the central town, however a 15-20 walk will get you to an area with a number of restaurants, shops and cafes. If you have a vehicle all the better.

Spent 2 days at the Sport Village Hotel & Spa during our driving tour of Abruzzo and had a great stay. Pretty basic hotel rooom, minimalist, but clean and comfortable. We were informed when we made our reservation that there was a wedding at the hotel on the Saturday of our stay, and the reception would go late into the evening. Turned out that this was more of a treat than an inconvenience. The event planners and hotel staff transformed the Sport Hotel into an incredible wedding reception venue, both inside and out. We went for a late night walk on the bike/walking path next to the river and upon our return joked with the front desk staff if we were going to get a slice of wedding cake. Shortly after returning to our room, ther was a knock on the door, and yes, two slices of scrumptious wedding cake were brought to us by the front desk clerk. What a great surprise! Many thanks to the woman at the desk. Had a spa appointment earlier in the morning, great massage. We'll be back to Castel Di Sangro. Ciao!…

The hotel was clean, modern, and very beautiful. The staff was really helpful and very friendly. The breakfast was delicious and had so many options to choose from. The rooms were very nice as well. I recommend this hotel for anyone staying in the area. I would definitely stay here again!
