This is a lovely place to stay, run by a family who are friendly, helpful and do their best to meet all your needs. Lovely food served with a smile, breakfast and evening meals available. Very nice swimming pool, not large but well maintained including the area around the pool. Lift available to all floors. The only addition I could suggest is tea and coffee in the room (especially for us Brits) Good parking too for those with a car

We are on our third visit to La Pergoletta. The location is excellent ...4km from SORRENTO ...high up in the hills beside St. Agata village where there are local supermarkets and fruit markets and restaurants. If you drive there is free parking at the hotel. Otherwise, there is a bus stop outside the Pergoletta for trips to Positano and Amalfi and SORRENTO. If you are travelling from Naples airport you can get a bus for ten euro to SORRENTO train/bus station. From the station you can get a bus to Pergoletta Hotel cost 1.30 euro. This is a family run Hotel with 30 rooms and a swimming pool.. They provide an Italian healthy continental breakfast plus delicious scrambled eggs. Luigi and Antonio and their Dad run the Pergoletta and they are most kind and helpful with a smile always. The Pergoletta is so clean. Housekeeping every day. Evening meals are available at La Pergoletta. They have an excellent Chef who can cook fresh steak and fresh fish dishes as well as our favourite italian cuisine. There was a fridge in the room for our bottled water and treats. The views are amazing from the balcony of the countryside and the sea. On a personal note, the air is much more healthy here and it’s away from the tourist crowd and the family are so friendly and professional. It cannot be beaten on good value for money. The family gave us a nice gift when we left yesterday which was so caring and we cannot wait to return. We just love the place and we are seasoned travellers. We highly recommend La Pergoletta.

We stayed here in early July and were pleasantly surprised by this lovely clean and very friendly hotel in the beautiful town of Sant Agata. The rooms are very clean with a small balcony and breakfast is typical Italian style continental breakfast. The outside pool is a little gem and spotless clean, on most days we had the pool to ourselves. There is short walk to the town itself where you’ll find lots of choice in places to eat, all at reasonable prices. If you want to visit nearby Sorrento or Positano. Simply buy a bus ticket from the hotel reception and the bus stop is right outside the hotel front door. Similarly if fancy a trip to Pompei buy your bus ticket and the bus drops you right outside the train station then it’s a rustic Italian train ride to the entrance of Pompei. Great place to stay, good value and lovely attentive staff. A

We very much enjoyed our recent stay at La Pergoletta, helpful and friendly staff and a perfect location. The hotel is lovely, pretty outdoor areas front and back with a nice clean pool area too. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style that catered for everyone. The staff were all very attentive and made sure we had a nice stay. The hotel is a short walk from the town where there are shops, restaurants and bars. The town is lovely with lots of options for food and drinks, although quiet on a Sunday evening it was vibrant during the rest of the week. Sant’Agata is an ideal option for location as not far from Sorrento and Amalfi, Positano and Minori are all within close driving distance. There is a bus stop outside the hotel if you don’t have a car. In all, I would definitely recommend Sant’Agata and Hotel La Pergoletta - one of the best holidays I’ve ever had!

Well it's a three star, not a four star hotel. But still we surprised on arrival on a hot June day, to find the air conditioning was only switched on in July and August. And then only for three hours in the afternoon and three hours at night. Breakfast choice was limited, though the coffee was nicer than some more expensive hotels that we've stayed in. The room was clean but small and the shower room very small. The staff were friendly and helpful as far as they were able (no matrees toppers available for a very hard bed) For a small village the road outside the hotel gets very busy, so it can be noisy. And walking into the village can be 'exciting'. The pool was small, but clean and hardly used while we there

I stayed at the hotel for 10 nights while exploring the beautiful Amalfi Coast, Sorrento , Naples Pompeii and Vesuvius. My room was a good size with an en suite bathroom - all spotlessly clean and kept so by the hard working housekeepers during my stay. The shower was slightly dated but there was always hot water and it had good power. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of wardrobe space too. Outside was a small balcony with a table and two chairs. There is a lift to the upper floors whilst on the ground floor is reception, bar and restaurant. They offer breakfast, lunch and evening meals all of which were tasty and reasonably priced. Outside there is a smallish pool and plenty of loungers in the sun trap garden. There are bus stops outside the hotel to take you to Sorrento in one direction or down the Amalfi Coast the other way. From Sorrento you can get buses/ train to Pompeii/ Vesuvius/ Naples and beyond. So the hotel is ideally located for public transport links. All the staff were really friendly, welcoming and helpful and I really enjoyed my stay at La Pergoletta

This hotel was perfectly situated for the bus stops in to Sorrento or Amalfi plus the short walk in to Sant'Agata, a lovely village with plenty of bars and restaurants. The hotel staff were friendly and knowledgeable, our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and there was a variety of food at breakfast. The swimming pool was perfect. We would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this hotel last September and I have to say we had a beautiful time. The hospitality by the owners is second to none. Food is great and the rooms are well decorated and well cleaned. The hotel is close to the centre of the town so you can also walk to many shops and restaurants nearby. We will definitely stay here again when back to Sant'Agata.
