The Nichotel is one of the refined creatures of Nicolo Pomata, a true pioneer of Carlofortina catering. From him, we all found genuine food, welcome and comfort for decades. Unfortunately Nicolo left us, but his legacy is always present in the
small and refined boutique hotel, designed to make you feel good, in an environment equipped with all comforts, quiet and central. The reception is professional: when you enter there is always a right information accompanied by a nice smile. Everything is at your fingertips: restaurants, bars and shops of all kinds are within walking distance. The rooms are cozy well appointed and very quiet. Low off-season prices allow you to visit the island in low season, and enjoy its charm before the summer invasion. Thank you very much Niccolo and his family for making Carloforte more welcoming by equipping it with excellence such as this beautiful hotel and a high-level catering school. I think the city should dedicate a street or a square to him.

It's a small 4-star boutique hotel that doesn't make you miss anything.
The welcome is warm and hospitable, as if they have always known you. The room, simple, very clean and well furnished, overlooks one of the main streets with a balcony from which you can see the port. Sound insulation and perfect temperature.
The bathroom has a very comfortable shower and soft, clean linen. Everything tastes clean.
The breakfast is very fresh, complete with sweet and savory options, and is served with a lot of love by always attentive and smiling assistants.
the excellent price gives the possibility of a quality stay even in the low season.
At check-out the only problem is that you feel very sorry to leave.

We stayed in this hotel during a short holiday in Carloforte, finding accommodation very central and easily accessible. The hotel itself is welcoming and functional, equipped (at least in our case, a room on the 4th floor with a small terrace) with a pleasant view. Varied and excellent quality breakfast, in a clean and warm environment. Very courteous and helpful staff, both at reception and on the floors (we remember Rita's name, unfortunately not the others). For those who stay there are some welcome benefits such as the discount on the family's restaurants (at Nicolo and Pomata Bistrot, both worth trying), the beach kit, free water from the charging device on the 1st floor, and so on. Small idea for further improvement: the rooms are comfortable, well air conditioned and soundproofed and the beds guarantee a good rest (essential after a day exploring the island), but they could become even better with some small updates or replacements (e.g. curtains, some elements of the taps, external lighting on the terrace). In any case, these are not factors that can reduce the satisfaction of a stay here, which we recommend to all those who are looking for a quality structure in Carloforte. See you next holiday đź‘Ť

I stayed at the Nicohotel for two nights last August.
Reservation we had made was for three people so we requested a triple room for three adults. About two weeks before the stay one of the three holiday participants had a serious health problem and could no longer participate in the holiday. We represented this to the property asking if this could be taken into account and if they could consider the rate for two people, but we were answered negatively saying that the rate would remain the same. I guess it was because we were allotted a triple room by now and there was no alternative. I specify that the same thing was also communicated to another hotel where we were guests previously in Villasimius and in that case they made us occupy the triple room (really triple) charging us for the two actual occupants we stayed.
The thing that left us regretted was not having to pay for the triple room, but that the room sold as a triple is nothing more than a double with an armchair containing a bed, at the opening of which would have lacked the minimum space even to pass.
Given the situation, at the time of payment we complimented the structure primarily at breakfast but signaling that if the third person was present and if we needed to open the armchair there would not be material space to walk because the room was a double with sofa bed and not triple, we then asked to pay the amount due for a double and not for a triple. At the time we represented the thing there was an attendant and the manager who, to my amazement, did not say a word except to give indication to the attendant to discount each of us 1.50 euros so as to round up the amount due which was that of a triple room.
I did not have the readiness to give up the total discount of three euros that had been made to us, because I was very surprised at the total silence we received in Response to our polite request.
We paid for our triple room and left in the certainty that the one we occupied in two was not a triple room at all. As for me, it's a shame to get lost and lose customers for such banality, but I take note of the hotel's commercial policy. I think in any case that in the beautiful island there is a bit of exaggeration.
Thank you.

We stayed at this boutique hotel for a week and had a great time. Let's start with the positive notes: the room was spacious, modern and clean. The bathroom was very large, equipped with a large shower and with a large shelf to be able to rest all the necessary items. Besides that, I also loved all the little details present in the corridors, at the reception and in general in all areas of the hotel, making it well cared for and visually prettier. Finally, I loved the staff, or reception staff, in fact, was always professional (advising you also the best beaches and excursions on the island) and available 24/24. Even the waitresses and cleaners were always friendly and well-disposed. The only flaw I would write is that the breakfast buffet was very limited, with few choices between savory and sweet. But mel complex, I highly recommend the Nichotel for those staying in Carloforte.

We stopped at this property for two days. We were welcomed with uncommon kindness. We brought our two little dogs and found a gift for each and bowls in the room. Very comfortable room with all services. It is possible to fill the bottle of water independently using the dispenser made available to all guests. Excellent breakfast and staff with a kindness and friendliness that you don't often find. A round of applause for the homemade cakes that are so good that you always want more. In short, if you want to spend two days in peace and in an enchanting place like Carloforte you can only choose Nichotel. Well done!

This place is just off the main harbor-front boulevard, very close to the ferry terminal. The rooms are surprisingly large. The shower is wonderful. The staff, inc. the owner, are super friendly & helpful.
The breakfast is very good. The hotel has a dispenser of cold water I could refill my bottle 24/7.
Within a 5- minute walk are countless restaurants & gelaterias. When I return to Carloforte, I will stay here again. No question!

We booked a family room through Booking a few months before our 5 night stay. About ten days before our arrival we are contacted by the hotel who offers us to book directly with them, guaranteeing us a
"something" more, which we still don't know what it was... In fact, I read on the site this evening that they offer a free beach kit but it was never offered or mentioned to us. The first doubt arises immediately, given that we had blocked the room by providing only the card as a guarantee, and the payment would have been made in the structure, but instead we were immediately asked to pay a deposit....
Upon our arrival, unfortunately, we find ourselves in a room that is a little different from our expectations and different from the photo indicated at the time of booking, this is certainly smaller, darker and with the armchair bed which, once opened, you can no longer get into. move. I go to reception to politely ask for a possible room change but I am told (with little empathy) that there are no other rooms available.
Considering that we came from another facility in Sardinia with a room double the size, brand new, with a very large third bed (my son is 1.85m tall and 14 years old), we found ourselves rather perplexed and it was natural to make a comparison on comfort.
After 2 nights, I see the room next to ours open (still a family room but with a sofa bed) and I ask the cleaners if it was free and they tell me yes. I run to reception to ask for a move but the same person who checked us in. a little annoyed, she reiterates that she doesn't have the room available for the remaining days and that it was for 4 people (pity that the day before it was occupied by a couple...), when my husband, a little annoyed, also intervenes saying that my son sleeps very uncomfortably, a moment later we are told that the solution can be found and that we could even move immediately, even being able to choose whether to go to that room next door with a sofa bed or to another identical one on the upper floor.....Then no it's true that there were no availabilities...even 2 free rooms!!! We thanked (and thank) for the change but they could have satisfied us immediately without having to be the ones to pray for a better solution for our needs. In addition to clearly the inconvenience of emptying cupboards and moving everything, which could have been avoided.
For the rest, I can say that it is a small city hotel, the nightlife is quite noisy but it is excellently soundproofed, the breakfast is a little limited but good and the staff are very kind, in particular a girl whose name I can't always remember nice to us and our son.
The furnishings could do with a little revision (curtain, chairs in particular) and a little maintenance in the bathrooms wouldn't hurt (crooked toilet seat, details in the shower, etc.).
Overall, and after the room change, we had a pretty good time but if we were to return to Carloforte, I'm sorry but we probably wouldn't return to the Nichotel…

Absolutely top class.

Customer service-
Family run business with a very personal touch. Communication was excellent before and during stay.

Facilities-
They obviously do continuous work to keep the hotel fresh and modern. This makes the stay feel a bit special. The rooms are beautiful. Incorporate the character of the old building with a nice modern feel. There is no expense spared on the finish of the hotel.

Location-
Could not be better. Walk out the door and you’re in the middle of everything. The restaurant right across the street is fantastic. Throw a stone from the hotel in any direction and you’ll hit a nice little cafe, bar or restaurant. You’re beside a few bike hire shops. I thoroughly recommend hiring an E bike for around 20 euros and you can explore the island from your base.

Price- Like everything in Carloforte, it is very good value. Half the price you might pay across most of Europe. The place is so good that it just feels like really good value.
