The views over the valley are amazing, but opt for a room on the garden side as the rooms on the road side may be noisey. The swimming pool is good, with good quality loungers etc. The garden is very well cared for. The room we had was very comfortable and clean, we enjoyed the quiet well furnished sitting rooms...

I didn't stay here, I was just passing and saw the restaurant. The Pici was to die for. The owner gave me a tour on a map of the area after lunch and one of the staff gave me a tour of the property. Fantastic service, very very impressed. I will be back

We spent nearly a week of our holiday at Tenuta Santo Pietro and each day as I woke up to our views I was so glad we chose this place! We stayed in the Malvasia room which overlooked the immaculate grounds and Pienza in the distance. Our room was fabulous - beautiful bathroom facilities, robes, great bedding, and modern conveniences...

We stayed at the B&B after a cruising the Mediterranean. We have been to Tuscany before and knew exactly we wanted to visit Montepulciano and Montalcino, so the location was perfect. The inn is impeccable, clean and beautiful. The rooms have very comfy beds, fully equipped and large bathrooms, even robes and slippers. The grounds are breathtaking; beautiful gardens, a...

We spent the final 5 days of our Tuscan holiday staying at Santo Pietro and could not think of a better way to end our visit to Italy. It is a lovely hotel, situated in a great setting with a beautiful view over to Pienza. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Giuseppe (owner) is extremely knowledgable on the area...

We stayed here as part of our honeymoon and really enjoyed our stay. The property is beautiful and very luxurious - everything you would need for a perfect break. It is located about half way between Pienza and Montepulciano which is convenient for dining out. We ate at the inn one night and enjoyed it - the starters and pasta...

We just returned from a fantastic 5 days staying at this wonderful spot. The location is convenient about halfway between Pienza and Montepulciano and about ~30 minutes from main rail line in Chiusi. The inn itself is well decorated and appointed. There is a comfortable indoor and outdoor living room, indoor and outdoor dining room and several comfortable common areas...

This is long overdue as our trip to Tenuta was in April 2012. We absolutely loved our stay here. We stayed in the room Vermentino. Amazing views from this room. We did not find there to be any noise that we could hear from the road, and we are very light sleepers. The bed was very comfortable and they also...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The new owners of Tenuta Santo Pietro recently completed a loving and total restoration of the property to maintain the integrity of its historic 13th-century structure while offering all the modern comforts that will make you feel at home. The inn is fully air-conditioned (windows are also screened so you can enjoy the Tuscan air) and has wireless access and TV in every room. Each of Santo Pietro's twelve bedrooms has its own marble bathroom, and offers a welcoming bed with exquisite Italian-made linens, down pillows and comforters. An expansive manicured lawn sits off the back of the house, along with several patio areas, comfortably furnished so you can sit and look out over the terraced lawn to the pool and to the town of Pienza beyond.
