Stayed two nights at La Bandita. The staff were always friendly and very helpful. The room were beautifully and smartly designed. There was an altar in my room which made it even more special. Love the common space for relaxing and play old fashion music via a record player!

We recently spent 3 nights at La Bandita in Pienza at the recommendation of our travel consultant - and it is a gem. A totally renovated, light-filled, modern retreat in a historic building in the heart of Pienza. It is wonderful to walk in off the street to such an interesting atmosphere; it's really one of a kind. The way...

We booked this stay through Ciao Bambino and what a great pick! The rooms are beautiful. The location is ideal. The food was great. The service was perfect. We were greeted and then John's recommendations were terrific. He sent us to a delicious local restaurant and to a vineyard. Loved being there.

Great small hotel in excellent location in Pienza centre. Excellent design with superb attention to details, very much in love with the concept of their living area on the 1st floor with Vinyl player and collections of books. We stayed in standard room which was quite small but enough for the 2 of us and 2 suitcases. Excellent dinner with...

I stayed for three nights at La Bandita Townhouse. This is a very nice hotel, which was previously a monastery. It's in the historic centre of Pienza, a stone's throw away from the balcony with a breathtaking scenery or the cathedral. This is a design hotel recently refurbished and it shows in the furniture and in the design, which mixes...

La Bandita is a wonderful and charming property located in the delightful "village" of Pienza; the staff is lovely and the room was refreshingly and comfortably austere. Regrettably, I stayed but one night and a cold June rain made leaving the windows open problematic (cold and damp versus bracing fresh air - always a conundrum). Dinner at the hotel restaurant...

The attention to detail is superb, with beautiful, open, spacious rooms and a large lounge area with a great local wine list. But for a "B&B", with limited amenities and on-site staff and a disappointing breakfast, this was a very expensive place to stay, especially out of season. Great location, but limited parking.

Our first visit to Pienza. We were warmly greeted on arrival and upgraded to a "Townhouse" type room (#8, bedroom and tub on top floor, and family room with TV and sofas on lower level); very comfortable. We were greeted as old friends in the restaurant for dinner by both staff and John, the owner, and must say enjoyed one...

My husband and I were lucky enough to visit LaBandita for a third time in early October. We were warmly welcomed back by all the staff, including the owner John. Our room was once again pristine. We enjoyed three amazing dinners in the restaurant and everything once again exceeded all of our expectations. This is a very unique and special...

This was my favorite part of a 2 week tour of northern Italy. First let me start with the town. Pienza is a town high in the hills of Tuscany built during the Renaissance. It is small, romantic and beautiful. Everything and everyone has a charm about them that is infectious, making you want to return. Now lets talk about...
