We booked a week here after reading the other reviews. This villa is outside the town of Poggibonsi, overlooking a castle, and is very clean. There were nice white linens on our bed, and crisp white bath towels were provided. Soap, shower gel, and shampoo were provided also. A small hairdryer eliminated the need to bring one and use an...

We spent a week at Serena's beautiful I Melograni Del Chianti and could not have had a better time. We stayed in the Mangiatoia apartments, which was near perfect in terms of space and comfort. The outside Veranda was what you would expect in Italy and was in a perfect location to visit with all the other guests that were...

I Melograni del Chianti is a beautiful property in the heart of Tuscany. Located between Florence and Sienna, day trips to all destinations are easy. Serena is a warm, accommodating hostess who takes pleasure in offering any assistance, maps or advice necessary to help her guests plan their outings. The property is beautiful, clean, quiet and the perfect relaxing retreat....

The outstanding qualities of I Melograni del Chianti and its hostess Serena are well documented in previous reviews. I cannot add anything further other than to assure you that our one week stay was everything one could hope for in a Chianti experience. With I Melograni as central Tuscany location we easily travelled by car to Volterra, San Gimignano, Forence,...

We spent a week at I Melograni Del Chianti and wish we could have spent more. Our apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Serena is a wonderful hostess and her advice and help made our stay a memorable one. Highlights were visiting Florence, Castellina & Radda, Sienna, San Gimignano and a winery tour that Serena recommended and booked for us...

As previous reviews have noted, this is a fantastic place to stay and we enjoyed our break - the surrounding countryside is amazing and it is very well located (easy trips to Sienna, Radda, San Gimignano, etc). Serena is a great host and a pleasure to talk to. The place was full as it was the height of summer but...

My wife and I spent a great week here in May/June. It's the perfect place to unwind in the countryside, but close enough to Poggibonsi that you're only 5 minutes from restaurants, groceries and the highway that can get you to Florence and Sienna in under 30 minutes. Serena was very helpful and took the stress out of planning day...

Thank you again Serena for your help in making our holiday a lovely experience again. The seven apartments are very well appointed with a very cooling pool, set in very peaceful and relaxing surroundings. It is situated midway between Siena and Florence in the Tuscan hills, only 15/20 miles to each, and lovely Chianti villages also in close vicinity. You...

Our family of 4, including a 12 year old and 14 year old boy, just had our best family vacation ever at I Melograni del Chianti! The surrounding landscape is magnificent. The setting is quiet and comfortable. It feels remote but very easy to get to major roads and an easy trip to so many amazing places like Florence, Sienna,...

We stayed with our 3 year old kid Filippo a week in one of Serena s beautiful appartments in Melograni del Chianti. A nice, tucked away place with pool to relax and a wonderful classical sundown view from the terrace. We enjoyed some great wine here and fish barbecue. Florence, San Gimignano, Siena and the classical Chianti vine villages like...

“I think with this particular property any of the room locations would work well in the conditions in which we stayed (Sunny, Temperatures mid 20s c. and no rain). We only experienced unit #5 which was a great size for a couple and had a semi-private patio which we used extensively for breakfast and dinner. We could not connect to WiFi from our unit and had to go to the central area by the pool to check email etc.. This was not a great inconvenience in the kind of weather we had, however could prove awkward in rainy weather.”
