Hotels in Benesque were fully booked and San Anton had one room left. The friendliest staff i have ever met. The bed was a little to hard for my taste, but my husband liked it. The hamburger in the meny was excellent. I Highly recommend it. I am sorry to inform that i didn't get pictures of the room. But the website is quite accurate.
Came here as part of basquemtb trip. Rooms were small but comfortable. It was very quiet and clean. Wifi was spotty. Food was plentiful and good. Service was great. You could even have bacon and eggs for breakfast in the morning!
Very good place to stay in terms of staff, food, easy access and space outside the room. The only two things that we did't liked was the fact that the photos are from large rooms and ours was minimal. Very very very small. Basically, only one person could walk around the bed. Also, the space to put out things was (of course) barely none, so we kept the bags (full) on the ground all week. The other thing we didn't liked was the soundproof of the walls. It's like they are made of cardboard :) You can hear everything! Even a cellphone vibration from the upper room. That's the level ahah It's not a very comfortable experience but I think the friendly staff make up for it.
The breakfast and the friendly lady who served us were great. The lobby area was lovely but the room was absolutely tiny with just enough space to squeeze around the bed. The bed was comfy and the shower was hot and powerful. The room didn't smell very appealing though, there was a stale smoke smell. The price was pretty good and the location is great for exploring the area, although the hotel is right on the road and in the morning there was some loud noise from lorries manoeuvring.
This hotel is placed at the entrance to the town, making it a great location to walk through and around town. The staff are very friendly & helpful, and tried hard to assist with limited English. Only complaint was the room given was very small for 4 people with 4 bags - glad it was only a couple of nights, but would recommend perhaps as a couple. Breakfast was an excellent buffet of croissants, cereals, and various breads & cold cuts, with hot meals (omelettes, eggs etc) available and hot drinks.
