Lovely hotel, breakfast was good, was asked on arrival when we'd like breakfast . Lounge area was very cosy. Owner was friendly and welcoming. Clean. Great view from window. Would definitely stay again.

A perfect venue with all of the right facilities for our fishing trip. One could not ask for a better breakfast before a day on the river. The patrons were friendly and knowledgeable, it was clear that they wanted us to get the most from our stay. We followed their advice on hostelries and we were not disappointed with their... More

The Severn Arms Hotel has been our choice of hotel of two stays in Bridgnorth now and on both occasions had a lovely relaxing stay. The owners are friendly and helpful and provide the best breakfast in Bridgnorth. Such a shame they are selling up and heading for a well earned retirement. I just hope the new owners keep up... We had been booked into the hotel for a couple of nights as we were having a steam train visit to the Severn Valley railway. On entering the hotel we were jostling with pushchairs and young children and a little stressful looking parent unloading his car . But it turned out to be the owner and his very well behaved... A lovely hotel with lots of character, my daughter and myself enjoyed our stay. Fresh towels, hair dryer, tv and tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Adequate wardrobe and drawer space for belongings. There is a booklet/ folder with details about the hotel, surrounding area and where to visit/eat etc. The bathroom is nice and clean with a simple shower.... More

We enjoyed our cycling break in Bridgnorth, as its a lovely place. The severn arms describes itself as 4 star but having stayed in a few b and b's this year, it is a few notches down on 4 star. It is an old building with old furniture, some in need of a clean but overall, the bed and bathroom... More

Thank you for your review , we are sorry you didn't like our furniture but we try where ever possible to buy antique furniture in keeping with the OLD Georgian building, perhaps you are best suited to modern boutique hotels/B&B's! Sorry your felt you were disturbed by the noise but unfortunately we can't do anything about the bar/restaurant on the... More

We were only staying in Bridgnorth for one day as part of a long journey from Scotland to visit our sons. The Severn Arms filled that bill exactly. It is a very old, 17th century building and that adds to its charm. The steep stairs have an amazing chorus of creaks! There is no parking available other than 20 minute... More
