Been meaning to come here for about 10 years and finally made it. Very nicely laid out little pub that focuses on food rather than beer so it's definitely in the gastropod category that to be honest I am not that fond of. The food was very good - some imaginative twists to the dishes. There was only 1 veggie...

Many thanks for such a charming review. Sorry about the service charge but it is only on the food and all our staff decided that this was far fairer than 12.5% on food and drink as most other places do. Please note that all our service charge and any tips go to the staff

We stopped here on impulse after noting that all car parks in Bath were full, and we needed lunch. As a gastropub this is a little bit pricy. However we enjoyed reading the menu, and we thought that our meals were tasty and very well presented. We were happy after the meal. Good ale too.

We stopped off in this lovely pub on our way to Dorset. We were starving but unfortunately they had stopped serving breakfast by the time we arrived, however they offered to make us some bacon sandwiches. Very nice food. Very nice people.

We stayed at Wheelwright Arms for 2 nights over Christmas. Our room was warm, spacious, clean and very comfortable with lovely view of the valley. Dinner was excellent and good selection of wine by the glass. Staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this tucked away gem in a beautiful setting.

Lovely setting and room very much better than we had expected with delightful views. Very warm welcome, food excellent with very friendly and attentive staff. Would highly recommend and a real gem just outside Bath and perfect for the Christmas Markets. Not enough time or weather to go walking but hope to return to do this another time.

We visit locations every December around the UK, from York to Edinburgh and so on. This time we are in the West Country. Now the Wheelwrights Arms has really grabbed our attention so far. We are here for three nights but what has got our attention is the friendliness of the staff, the helpfulness they offer and the service they...

Following the death of my mother, we held a gathering at the Wheelwrights (her favourite pub) to celebrate her life. David could not have been more helpful in making suggestions as to the quantity of food required for some 40 people. He advised me not to order what I had in mind as there would be a substantial amount of...

Stayed for one night. Super room with great views (room 7). Really nice atmosphere and we really enjoyed our evening meal & breakfast was spot on. It is not the Ritz and for us the relaxed but attentive service is just for us. Location great for walks, Kennet & Avon canal and for seeing Bath. We walked down to Bath...
