Location is a bit remote if you want to walk for dinner but Eleanor did recommend restaurants in nearby villages which were very good. Ideal location for visiting Castle Fraser. Breakfast was very good and we loved watching the birds at the feeders while having breakfast especially the woodpecker.

Kate and I have been staying at the Bridge of Muchalls B&B with Eleanor and Jim since 2001. We live north of Inverness and every time we visit the Aberdeen area we stay here. I don't know why I haven't given a review of this marvellous B&B before, but feel as regulars that we should do. Eleanor runs the B&B...

I stayed for two nights while working in the area. There is a lovely welcoming atmosphere with a quiet rural location and would make a great base for those looking to holiday and explore the area with several Castles on the doorstep. My room was extremely comfortable and breakfast was delicious - kept me going well into the afternoon! Many...

This is the first time we have stayed at Bridge of Muchalls and really hope to revisit. The bed is comfortable and the location very quiet, the breakfast is excellent with a good choice perfectly well cooked. Eleanor and Jim Glennie made us feel very welcome. We slept well, breakfasted well. This visit we stayed for four nights while spending...

What a wonderful cottage with such lovely things in it. So quiet we both slept like babies and once awake we had a fantastic breakfast which lasted us all day. Eleanor is a lovely lady, an artist with a lot of her work displayed around her home and some interesting antiques, everything that is of interest to me. Also she...

In between several castles and famous circle stones, this very rurally located B&B was a very pleasant stay. Down the road from Castle Fraser; you can walk up the road. We had an excellent pub food dinner in the next village hotel. The double room was spacious with 16m2 and good showerroom 2 m2. Real cottage atmosphere with real king...

This jewel was one of our highlights during our recent journey to Scotland. Not only is it a beautiful cottage full of all kind of comfort but her owner, Eleanor, is also one of the friendliest people we have met. She offered us a greatly cooked breakfast, served with a smile and pleasant conversation. Comfy beds in spotless rooms in...

I stayed here one night in the twin room (although it was just me so plenty of space). The room isn't modern but it makes a nice change. Very comfortable and there's everything you need. I also found the atmosphere quite relaxing. Breakfast was fab and beautifully served. The surroundings are quaint and the garden is pretty. You could tell...

We stayed 2 nights here on a tour round Scotland. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, full of nice touches and with an excellent en-suite. Breakfast was excelllent. The owner was well travelled herself and was very helpful. The B&B is in the countryside very close to Castle Fraser. Nice view of fields and hills from the breakfast area and...

I stayed here last Saturday evening. It really is tranquil. Try a walk up to Castle Fraser of a nice evening and check out the Walled Gardens. Mrs. Glennie did a lovely hearty Scottish breakfast. I hope to return again soon. PS bedroom was lovely.
