Jean and Angus run this 4-star guest house with wide, ever-changing sea views. Jean greeted us with warmth and kindness, showed us to a lovely room with en suite; fresh, slightly quirky seaside theme with everything we could ask for. Breakfast is in the large conservatory and was delicious. Loved the garden. Parked just outside on street; at least 3...

The property is situated on the main route through Burntisland, so we found it no problem. From the moment we stepped foot into Gruinard guest house, i knew we were in for a treat!! The lovely welcome from Jean and Gus was delightful after a long day's walk from the Forth Bridge. We were shown into the dining area which...

Great place, Superb Breakfast and the host Jean and Gus make you feel like you are at your own home. If you want to visit Edinburgh and you don't mind taking the train, this is an top alternative. We were there in August, at festival time and prices at Edinburgh were more than double for less quality. I highly recommend...

I can not believe .... Working up Scotland booked over Internet had an auto reply... I looked at reviews last was week before ... Driving down the road looking at house numbers looking for 148 and there is a gap between 149 & 147..... Couple of vans and a mini digger whizzing away .... Total gone....

Hi Oarvar I am the owner of 148 Kinghorn Road and we are very much still in business. The gap in between 147 and 149 is just a gap as all the add numbers are on one side and the even numbers are on the opposite side of the road. I hope you will call in if you are passing...

Just spent one night here but one of the best b&bs we have stayed in while in the UK. Nothing was left to chance. All needs catered for! Thanks Jean and Gus. Carmel, Mary Geraldine and Brian Ryan from Australia . So close to Edinburgh if you didn't want the bustle of the city

Words escape me, a top class B&B, with top class hosts, I had one of my best nights over my 10 days travelling a round Scotland. Could not have been made to feel more welcome, the room was large and very clean well appointed. The breakfast was also not one of the best, a great selection of options that will...

Rooms brilliant, food amazing as much baked or made themselves, lovely bread and jams etc, wide choice for breakfast. Very helpful, good recommendation for places to eat locally. Trains pass by at bottom of garden which is weird at first but then rather nice. Can't recommend this highly enough. Super wood burning stove too.

From the minute we arrived we were met with a hot drink and our first taste of Jeans wonderful home baking. Jean and Gus went out of their way to make us very welcome and our stay enjoyable. Our room and en suite facilities were very comfortable and made all the more special by a slice of Jean' s home...

We recently stayed 3 nights in the twin room, the owners have thought of everything you might need, there are plenty of well placed mirrors so you get the maximum light, make up remover, hairspray, body spray, hand lotion, fresh water and milk, home made cakes and biscuits etc etc, the room looked out to the sea and Edinburgh and...

Excellent B&B and thoroughly recommended. The rooms, facilities and food are excellent with the garden giving great views across the Forth, plus walks on the beach are only minutes away. A good base from which to tour Fife and visit Edinburgh.

Thank David M
