Trish was amazing and catered for our needs whilst working early mornings. Very friendly and a lovely b and b! Extremely clean accommodation and lovely breakfast. Will definitely book to stay here again in the future.
The Balciuin B&B in Netty Bridge, is a nice and cosy B&B, very affordable, nice rooms and a good breakfast served by an excellent landlady/owner, with beautiful surroundings and wild roe deer insight from the dining room, very picturesque! It is well worth a stay!
My husband and I enjoyed a night in Nethy Bridge at the beginning of our trip to Scotland. Trish was a very accommodating host with lots of suggestions to offer in way of activities and local dinner fare. We stayed in the en suite room with two twin beds. View from our window was fantastic. Would love to return and spend a few days exploring Speyside in a little more depth.
A lovely home, off the beaten path but with a sat-nav no problem finding (the directions on the website are a little vague). Our room was very clean, comfortable and with all the amenities. There were 3 of us in the family room which suited us perfectly as the 2 joined rooms provided plenty of privacy. Breakfast was delicious - fresh and made to order - a great way to start the day. Trish was very nice, very helpful. Nethy Bridge is a good location with lots of great restaurants in the area - just be sure to make a reservation though! We'll definitely stay here again next time we're up here.
Had an excellent two night stay here. We were two couples and we shared the family room/suite. It was two joined bedrooms with a shared bathroom and suited us perfectly. The facilities were excellent and the breakfasts superb. You won't be disappointed.
Had a great three nights at the Balciuin B&B (I have no idea how it is pronounced). Beds very comfy and room really clean, and the Hostess, Trish, is very welcoming and friendly. Well worth the cost which was very reasonable. When we arrived Trish made my wife and I a tea and coffee and gave us some biscuits to go with the refreshments. Nethy Bridge is a great place for walking and the Balciuin is a great Base. My one and only gripe was the fact that you had to order breakfast the night before but it's a minor gripe and certainly will not stop me from returning if I am up this way and it shouldn't stop you either. While it's predominantly a B&B Trish will cater for packed lunches (and dinners with notice) at a very good rate. As I was on a walking weekend I took advantage of the packed lunch and it was very good - I'd say it was better than the local Hotels' packed lunch :-)…
This was one of the best places we stayed. Trish, the owner, is so nice and she makes the best breakfast ever! It's in a very calm area, surrounded by nature. Everything was impeccably clean and cozy.
It was a delight to have spent 3 nights with Trish at Balciuin whilst attending the Abernethy Highland Games. We had a lovely double room with ensuite on the ground floor. The breakfast selection was excellent and as all the guests ate around a large table there was plenty of interaction which we really enjoyed. Trish is a wonderful host, always willing to help and offer advise when needed.
Little bit difficult to find as no sat nat signal however if I'd brought printout with me would have been easy. lOne night stay in this lovely B & B. On arrival we were greeted with tea/coffee and cake/biscuits. Good start. Our room was a double -nice size with ensuite & walk in closet. Breakfast was perfect! Lovely garden view from sun room.
A wonderful b&b in a beautiful location. So relaxed, serene and verdant. Trish is a wonder and her breakfasts are legendary. If I'm ever lucky enough to visit Aviemore again I will make sure the Balciuin will be my first port of call.
