My fiance had booked a self catering cottage for a romantic weekend away in Nethybridge. On the Saturday 8 April we went for a long hike and didn't fancy cooking so decided to have a meal at the hotel. We got our drinks at the bar and then sat down to look at the menu. We both had the steak...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 13 February 2017

I needed somewhere to stay for a few days in the Aviemore area and looked up a hotel that I stayed in as an 11 year old on a family holiday in the late 1960's. The Nethy Bridge Hotel I'm pleased to say is still in business after all these years and is thriving. On arrival I was warmly welcomed...

For the price, the Nethybridge Hotel is good. The only issues we had was that it was very warm and stuffy - apparently, one window in each room does open just enough to let some air in, but we failed to find it. The other negative was that it's TOO dog-friendly - one room had 4 big dogs in it...

Thank you for your comments with regards to your stay, we are happy that you slept comfortably and that you found our staff to be welcoming and friendly. The windows that open in the room have a sign on them to say that they are restricted and can only open slightly, this is for health and safety reasons. We are...

We bought two separate Groupon vouchers for this hotel which included dinner, bed and breakfast for two plus a glass of bubbly and tea and coffee. We used the first one in January and the second one in April. We enjoyed both stays. The rooms were clean and although quite small, perfectly adequate for us and our dog. The bathrooms...

Wow this hotel was gorgeous, in the middle of nowhere but with amenities close by. Not far from Inverness, Aviemore etc. We were given this as a Xmas present and we loved every minute of it. The hotel was lovely, the room was fantastic, the view was amazing and the food was beautiful. The staff couldn't do enough for you....

Visited recently on a Groupon deal just for an overnight stay. Staff very pleasant but obvious signs that décor was in need of refreshing-torn carpets on the main stairwell not just a trip hazard but sets the tone for the hotel's offer! Our main concern is the restaurants food offer and presentation. Drinks as an appetiser were served at end...

Stayed with family two adults two kids ages 10 and 14. Room very clean, bathroom white with luxurious toiletries, nice furnishings, maybe refurbished recently. Family room. Pleasantly surprised: two singles and one large king size bed, separate rooms but in one mini suite (room 211). Tv in each room, large windows out to pleasant gardens. Best part of this hotel...

From the outside the hotel looks old fashioned but nice but inside it was like stepping back in time. As others have said we were warmly greeted by the reception staff ,our room was along a long corridor with squeaky floorboards and ancient woodchip on the walls. Our room was one flight up and was accessed by stairs or by...

We purchased a two night stay at this hotel through Groupon. Here's an honest review in our opinion. Positives: hotel looked nice from the outside; bedroom was ok in size; hotel had character; some staff were very pleasant and helpful; breakfasts were excellent in choice and quality. Negatives: our ensuite shower was tiny and so small we couldn't bend down...
