The ugly true is that this place has amazing views but need a complete remodelation. Do not stay there. It seems like a 1970 ghost hotel. I love pictures but the place doesn't inspire me. I asked for a credit to my credit card as soon as I entered the room. Preferred to pay a little bit more than return home.

Absolutely amazing views out of pool front rooms to the beach and ocean make this property noteworthy. Rates can be very low. Room was adequately clean but very basic. Pool water very cold. No functioning vending machines on property. No wifi. Glass window over balcony sliding door was broken and left the space somewhat exposed to the elements. An option for one night, maybe two.

ROOM: Folks if you have an emergency and need a place to stay for one night, this is the place, but make no mistake, the hotel needs an entire remodeling, outdate Bed & furniture, and deficient A/C units. Bathroom offers a jacuzzi that doesn't work, and needs replacement since it is very high for ederly people. $130 per night is reasonable, under better circumstance's. POOR Breakfast: A cup of coffee, toasts and Powder orange juice (Not concentrate OJ), and some sweets. Positive Point: Hotels offers a friendly atmospher, with a very good staff (Migdalia) make us feel right at home. Parking place is OK. Hotels view it's his principal asset. Georgeous Ocean view of Guajataca area, rated A plus!!! Overall rating: POOR, with a great potential to be the best in the area if physical structure receive the right attention.

If you need to stay in the North/West coast of Puerto Rico this is an inexpensive option without luxuries. They are still recovering from the recent hurricanes and got communication in the past few weeks. The rooms have good space, are clean, with good water pressure and hot water. Their best assest is the location and the great view of El Guajataca, which is one of the iconic views in the north west coast of the island.

Staff is friendly, but that doesn't make up for the foul smell in the room. It smelled like wet rug and mold. I had to get out because it triggered an asthma attack. The bedspreads are old and mended with other old bedspreads, the air conditioner was extremely loud and it didn't cool the room. Run away do NOT stay here.
