The Potting Shed is only good if you are drunk and don't care where you sleep, or if you have no where else to go. It literally still feels like an old potting shed. There was one blanket, no electric blanket, the smoke detector wasn't visible as only the casing was on the ceiling, so we didn't use the heater,...

Cute little home away from home for me set in beautiful cottage gardens. Booking was easy and always prompt responses to email queries from Stephen. Quaint old fashioned charming cottage within few minutes walk to the Church or over footbridge to restaurants. Stephen made sure the cottage was nice and warm when I arrived as it was a very cold...

Lake Tekapo Cottages was a poor choice and a great disappointment in so many levels. The flies and mosquitoes ruled the evening when we arrived. The unit/apartment we stayed in was very big, much bigger than we expected, but it felt like staying in a granny's home that hasn't been renovated since she moved in in her 20s. The walls...

My husband and I stayed in the Birch holiday home, which was lovely. We had a great time and the girl on the front desk was polite and helpful. So when my sister, who was thinking of taking a group to Tekapo for her daughter's 5th birthday asked me what I thought, I didn't hesitate to recommend them. She showed...

Had 2 nights in 'the honeymoon suite' - very comfortable, well equipped and nice balcony to sit outside. We were lucky with the weather and were able to gaze at the milky way both evenings - stunning. Would return

A great location – only a couple of minutes’ walk to the Church of the Good Shepherd on the lake front. The Potting Shed accommodation and facilities was as described on the website and by other travellers so we knew what we were getting. Room not serviced but friendly staff were happy to provide clean towels. Good free wifi. The...

We stayed two nights in The Potting Shed, it was tiny but absolutely everything had been thought of. We went for the naked eye stargazing down at the lake where it was pretty cold, and it was lovely to come back to such a warm cottage. I really liked this place.

Stayed one night at the Garden Cottage. It is very near to the Church of the Good Shepherd which is about a 2 minute walk across a road. From the living room of the cottage, one can see the Church and the surrounding lake area. Absolutely beautiful. We can see the night sky speckled with stars. In fact there are...

Stayed here for just one night to get away. Great location, very quiet, and a short stroll to the lake and church. Room and decor very dated but clean and tidy. Team were very helpful and kind when I left something behind, and had it in a postage bag the next day - great service!

We were given a very warm welcome. We had been allocated Rowena Cottage which would have been a much better experience if it had been cleaned from top to bottom and decorated. The decor was very tired. There were more doors to the bedrooms just curtains. When we put the lights on having eventually found some switches, the electrics are...
