Great location, fantastic staff and views that just keep giving. The food in the restaurant is well prepared and great quality. Would I return.....already looking to re-book. Great things to do in the vicinity include the hot pools and the observatory. Dis I mention the air tours!!!

Would recommend the restaurant for a special occasion... the food was superb, good sized meals, service very good & priced accordingly (higher end). The room was small but had all the amenities we needed for an overnight stay. Unfortunately the room wasn't as clean as expected for 4/5 star accommodation & needed maintenance.

Our room was just right for two people, we really enjoyed the view from our balcony. Downside the Bed was too firm, for room service we ordered our dinner and it arrived to us cold. Apart from that we would come back again for a short stay.

We paid the extra to stay in a self contained, one bedroom unit on the first floor with fabulous views over Lake Tekapo and it was well worth it. The unit was modern, spacious and clean. Kitchen was spacious with full size fridge, main oven and microwave plus 4 hobs and dishwasher and all the utensils you could wish for.... More

I booked to stay at Peppers this coming weekend, through Booking.com, as it was pretty much the only accommodation left in Tekapo. It also appears to be the most expensive. My son is training out of Tekapo so I was to travel down to pick him up before flying back to Australia. He has been injured and is now being... More

The highlight for us was the restaurant! great food and service! Our room was a good price - but tiny with very little windows. There was no where to put your bags without tripping on them. The bathroom was lovely and spacious however. Our bed was two singles put together but they were not zipped so moved apart in the night.... More

We purchased 2 x 3 bedroom villas for a large family. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed the views the villas had to offer. Also some of the bedrooms had great views of the lake. It's in a perfect location. The service was very good, we were missing some plates and the staff bought them over once we had... More

Overall we were very happy, friendly service, nice restaurant, comfortable room, great room service, good location. But attention to detail would make it even better. Little things that did not interrupt our stay and would be easy to fix; ripped curtain, not replacing used soap, noisy air conditioning, silly little things.
