    My husband and I stayed here for 4 days over New Years this year, and we could not have been more pleased with everything during our stay. The owners of the lodge: Russell, Julie, and their two boys were some of the friendliest people you can ever hope to meet, and their hospitality made us feel at home right away....

    From the earlier reviews we expected a family run lodge on a reserve. Approach is by a very long rough track with plants scraping the bottom of the car, through a herd of cattle which included some rather belligerent bullocks which could only be moved off the track by getting out of the vehicle.     What a great way to end our holiday! From first contact to the last good bye's, nothing we can fault. Excellent meals, amazing views, lovely people, 3* rates with 5* service, most comfortable rooms and the big bath tub... Majiki Lodge is a place where you feel welcome, can relax without feeling guilty and actually feel rested when you leave....

    Russ donated this trip for the Jim Shockey Shootout benefiting injured veterans. We purchased the donation in 2010 and took it in April of 2011. It was the more than you can imagine. Russ, July and staff were the best. The hunting was more that anyone could expect. Russ taylored our trip to meet all of our goals and needs....

    Safari with Russ had the time of my life .Not only are the acomadations excellent but the food/cleanliness and attention to detail are #1 .travelling a lifetime in 3 continents and throughout the us russ puts all to shame I highly recomend and will be back in the future.     I stayed here in December 2011 as an alternative to the very expensive game lodges in the area such as Amakhala, Addo etc. The lodge is no more than 15 minutes from Addo, Scotia Safaris and Amakhala where you can do your game drives without spending a fortune.
