Went last year on an overnight safari with Schotia, which I would thoroughly recommend! Saw all the main animals and our guide was very informative. There was an amazing storm that built up and hit us in minutes so got thoroughly drenched, but this didn't dampen our spirits. Met up with some other people at dinner and they said did...

We can not say enough good things! Our guide is also George and he is a fountain of information! We did the two nights, stayed in Warthog hut. I don't think that George sleeps, all our needs were met and we saw everything PLUS on all our drives. Early morning were our favorite. We used Trip Advisor to select, and...

We had a wonderful time at the Schotia Safari. We booked the 24 hours package, which starts with a safari all afternoon long. You will see all animals from a close distance. All the staff is very friendly, and if you are very lucky your ranger will be George. He is perfect, very friendly and will explain you all about...

My partner and I stayed overnight which included a trip to Addo elephant park. We cannot praise it enough, the organistion was excellent and the guides make it a fascinating visit. The night safari was a highlight seeing the animals by torch light. The accomodation was great, all candle light and we sat outside and watched the stars making a...

My family and I did the overnight safari. The weather was cloudy with a slight drizzle at times, but I would take that over heat. Our guide Nic was spectacular! Very knowledgeable and friendly. We saw every animal on the reserve and the male lion roaring was awesome. The dinner was amazing with enough for a second serving if you...

We did the two day safari (which includes a morning at Addo) at Schotia as part of our honeymoon and we had an amazing couple of days. The reserve may not be as luxurious as others on offer but it was great value and we found the accommodation and the food to be of a good standard. The draw of...

It's a privilege to be able to see lions, rhinos, hippos, zebras, etc etc etc in their own habitat. The highlight was being able to get up close to a pride of lions, not once but three times (we were safely in a big jeep of course). George, our ranger, was very knowledgeable, helpful and confident - he totally enhanced...

The whole experience was amazing. We were picked up in PE for a 2 day package. We'd had a problem with our airline tickets and Igna was fantastic allowing us use of pc and phone to sort this out. All the staff were great, Edward was a brilliant guide and tracked down the animals when they were determined to hide !!...

If you are travelling the Garden Route this a great safari to do. You see the big 4 (plus more!) at Schotia then get taken to Addo to see the elephants. We stayed overnight, and were picked up at 2pm in Port Elizabeth, and dropped back at 4pm the next day. Everything ran like clockwork, we saw loads of wildlife...

We did a one night, 4 game drive safari including a trip to Addo - which we wish we could have spent another day in! We were warmly welcomed on arrival and although it was raining, we were given waterproof ponchos and blankets for in the covered land rover. We were still dressed in layers and having had warm to...
