Accommodation in a hostel was very good.We had a comfort double room with balcony and see view.Beautiful decorated rooms, not so large but enough for sure with everything you need inside(included mini bar, water heater with a different sorts of coffee and tea and very strong and good hair dryer-tip for women :-). Very clean. Breakfast was great and the host Ivan is very kind, friendly and help us with a lot of useful information.Location is just a few minutes to the center, awesome!! The accommodation definitely contributed to our wonderful stay on the island and I would reccomend it to everyone.
This small boutique hostel has everything you need. Totally peaceful located a few small streets from the center of Supetar. 9 renovated rooms in light colors and very clean. Extra plus for the small fridge and water kettle with complementary coffee/tea. We stayed in a room for 4 that had a big terass with a beautiful view over the water and all the way to the mainland of Croatia. Alegria is run by a lovely very service minded family that welcomed us with a lot of friendliness and looked after us so we didn’t missed anything during our stay.
This is a small, superfresh hostel just in the heart of Supetar. Nice and quiet neighboorhood but still less than 5 min to the old harbour with lots of restaurants, bars and caffees. Breakfast is small but has everything essential. Pool is 1.3m deep and not very big but very clean (like the rest of the hostel). The family that runs the place are very generous, helpful and honest. Book the penthouse and you’ll have evenings with an amazing view for your own large terrace. Dont miss this place!
Stayed here for two nights on a walking holiday. The pros - the room and hotel was spotlessly clean. However the cons... First - the room was the most extremely cramped I have ever stayed in - only just enough room for a double bed, 30cm round the edge. There was a desk/ table , but no chair- there would not have been enough space. One suitcase had to go under the desk; the other went in the wardrobe but that was an exercise in geometry as with the wardrobe door open, there wasn’t room to get the suitcase past the open door and into the wardrobe. (Answer - put the suitcase on the bed first, open the doors, lift and turn the suitcase to put it in the wardrobe). The bathroom was equally microscopic - the whole thing was a narrow corridor about 60 cm wide, i.e. less wide than a standard door. The two of us kept getting in each other’s way. Second - the service was mean, and supremely indifferent. There were 6 guests in the hotel when we were staying. The breakfast offering was OK but uninteresting, but what really got me was that they cooked exactly 6 eggs for 6 people, and bought fewer pastries than there were people - on the second day, two plain croissants and two filled croissants, for 6 guests. It just seemed penny pinching in the extreme. Finally, they didn’t bother making up the room after our first night - we got back after a day out to find the beds unmade, the bin still full, and they hadn’t replaced the tea bags we’d used. (They’d actually provided only one normal black tea bag between two of us anyway on the first day). There was nobody around at all in the evening to ask for any of these things (the staff just turned up at 8 am to put breakfast out and didn’t hang around then either). Overall a disappointing experience. …
I stayed here for two nights during a walking holiday in Croatia, rooms have everything you need and and very clean, my room had a tiny but South facing balcony, location is easy for access to everything, breakfast was good on the first day, the second day I requested an early breakfast at 7.30 as my shuttle was picking me up at 8.00, I arranged it with Ivana and she turned up late and rushed so I never got any eggs or croissants that morning they were still cooking when I left at 8.
