The hotel Ibis Auray, where I stayed for three nights, has small rooms, average modern equipped. The bed is not cosy as the mattress slides during sleeping and therefore you cannot sleep very well. Also it smells a bit sulky in the room when entering it first time. The window is too small why much daylight cannot get into the room. The bathroom is too small, especially the space in front of the toilette. The breakfast was good, the personnel okay, parking space enough availabe. But I would not return at this price to this hotel. I paid around 75,00 EUR including breakfast per night at the average. That's too expensive for this hotel!

Very small room. Nor refrigerator, no kettle, no paper tissues. The radiator is not active and no air conditioning. Small plastic glasses in bathroom and only two towels. Mini waste basket in bathroom. The closet is open with no doors. No hangers in room entrance. Very narrow passage way in room corridor and near the bed.. The room key is big old fashion to be kept at reception upon each exit of the hotel. The WiFi is good and there is sufficient place, even at hotel back side. The biggest advantage is being close to the highway to reach nearby attractions including beyond Vannes and all nearer sites. Since it is close to the commercial zone then there is convenient access to several reasonable restaurants, supermarket and fuel station. Reception team like Sebastian and Emanuel are friendly but do not speak English language, except the efficient Suzan.

Hotel had usual small rooms and no A/C. Front desk supplied fan to stay cool during the night. Had to ask for welcome drink. Otherwise everything was very clean and a good breakfast. Parking was free and secure.

Yes, a fairly good location although you have to drive everywhere, nothing close to walk and the round about near the hotel can be a nightmare. The front desk man on duty weekends is very unaccommodating.

The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extra helpful and nice. Breakfast was good and well attended to. The only problem was that it was not very close to the city center. A good value for money.

We stayed here for two nights and were very pleased with the hotel. I think it's recently been refurbished so all of the decor and soft furnishings were clean and in good order. The reception and breakfast area were well set out. The quality of the breakfast was excellent, and regularly replenished when anything was running low. The quality of te bedroom was also very good. Spotlessly clean with very comfortable mattresses and duvets. We took our dog with us and she was welcomed. There's a nice amount of green grass around the hotel where we were able to get her a leg stretch. The hotel is brilliantly located for Auray, quiberon, st Anne d'auray, st trinité sur mer and locmariaquer. It's on a retail estate but don't let that put you off. We also ate in the restaurant opposite the hotel and had an excellent meal in there. I would definitely stay here again.. great value for money.

Located on industrial estate and near to a busy main road but we had a great nights sleep as it was surprisingly quiet. The room was a standard Ibis room but the bed was so comfortable and the bedding good quality so we slept well. There was good wifi in all areas of the hotel. No restaurant but they do provide simple meals if needed. We thought the bar was expensive. The breakfast was buffet style, cost extra to the room but very good quality produce. The port of Auray was around 5 minutes away by car and there are some excellent restaurants there. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in this area.

Unplanned stopover after a stressful journey. I don't think you'd plan to stay here for any length of time because it is on a small industrial estate. But having said that, we were really pleased with it. You couldn't really stay there without a car and the only other guests seemed to be there for business. The room was functional, think Travelodge without tea and coffee making facilities. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have slept in and we both had a really good sleep. Good wifi access in the bedroom, but if you don't have a PC or tablet with you, there is a PC for guest use in the reception which is free. TV in the room with one BBC news channel. The breakfast was fine. Simple but fresh and plenty of it if you wanted to get stuck in. If we were in the area for longer, we would have been happy to stay longer. The reception staff were friendly and happily let us see the room before we took it. Good find!
