The hotel is located near to a cinema and some restaurants in a small retail area. The rooms are spacious and clean, the lobby is bright and welcoming and the restaurant and bar have a small terrace for dining and drinking outside. Bar prices are reasonable and there is a good selection of drinks including local ciders. Just a few minutes away there are some delightful country walks through shaded lanes reminiscent of Cornwall. The two outstanding attributes of the hotel are the staff and the food, the staff in this establishment were exceptionally welcoming, friendly and helpful with a positive attitude, full credit to them! The food was also excellent, unlike the bland international fare in most hotels the offerings were varied and tasty, meats and fish dishes accompanied with lovely sauces. I was on a business trip but I would definitely bring my family here in future…
Nice modern hotel with huge parking. The only issue was the noise of the slamming door in the morning of people leaving their rooms. The location in the commercial area was not an issue at all. Breakfast was good. We spent there 3 nights.
The Kyriad is in a quiet area, more commercial than touristy. But plenty of parking and very convenient for touring with easy access to major roads. Rooms are modern, fairly new, and clean. Nice amenities. Enjoyed having the water cooler in the hallway to get fresh cold water any time day or night. Staff is super friendly and helped us plan our stay in the Auray area, including making dinner and boat tour reservations. We thoroughly enjoyed our days of touring based upon their recommendations. We did not take advantage of the breakfast and the dinner restaurant was not open on our nights here, so I cannot comment on the food. The Kyriad was a perfect spot for our stay in Auray.
This is a very clean and well appointed modern hotel within very easy reach of Auray town and St Goustan port. Staff are very friendly and helpful and there is a very good breakfast buffet. Plenty of free parking. Cinema, restaurant and swimming pool (which includes flume) all within 100 metres. Good sized bedrooms with spacious en suite. Currently some access impeded due to maintenance work on the next door building. Cold water dispenser in corridor.
Welcoming and friendly staff. We were a couple, our son and daughter in law and baby. We stayed for a week, we had issues with the nearby noise which was solved. There was a heatwave and no airconditioning but they provided us with fans in both our rooms. The rooms are clean and well appointed with tea and coffee making facilities. Thre is a restaaurant in the hotel and La Boucherie next door also a Chinese Buffet nearby, Bio store and supermarkets. A large swimming complex is by the hotel and a cinema. The large open car park is free as is the Wifi. There is a limited bus service into Vannes which we took advantage of.
Although this hotel is not in the centre of Vannes, I must say it is fabulous! I have the biggest bed ever and the room is very clean with fresh and crisp towels and sheets! It has coffee and tea facility and the shower is awesome! Everyone is helpful and friendly! It is in an awkward location to get to however, there is a cinema, pool with sauna and jacuzzi and a restaurant next to. Breakfast is available for the early birds. I couldn’t make it most of the time! The hotel has a set menu for lunch and it is scrumptious! Good value for money, A very Hotel!
The hotel is a little difficult to find, but is next to a cinema on a modern commercial estate. Not very pretty, but next door to two or three restaurants. Ample parking, friendly welcome, and a large, comfortable, and clean room. Didn't use the restaurant, but the menu looked good, and service at the bar was friendly and efficient.
This hotel is on a commercial estate outside town but well-sited for the expressway. Parking is free and plentiful. While the hotel does not have a pool there is a state of the art aquatic centre on the doorstep. Dogs are welcome and there are plenty of places to walk them close to the hotel. Reception was friendly and extremely competent. The room was fine, clean and with plenty of fresh linen. The star attraction was the dining room, great food and excellent value, beautifully presented. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone staying in the area. AS A BONUS Monday-Saturday there is an approximately hourly bus into the town centre, cost 1 euro per trip, saves looking for parking. As an added bonus the route continues to the mainline station which is served by high speed and local trains.…
Quite a nice room with comfortable bed a kettle, tv, all the usual. Shower room looks very modern with gadget shower, but, prefer the standard type. Water goes all over the floor, didn't like to use the lovely white towels to mop it all up. The jets aren't all that! Gives you a weak blast, I surpose. Not my thing! Water was hot, for us. But, our friends on the ground floor had no hot water the second morning. Breakfast is €11pp. The staff are very nice and helpful. As I fell on the gravel outside and cut my hand, the young lady on reception was very attentive and applied first aid. Which I was grateful for. Thank you.
Hate to ding a hotel because of people outside talking loudly and laughing until 12:30 am but that was the reality. My husband went to bed with earplugs since there is no air conditioning white noise to block the sound. The source may have been a neighboring establishment but still worth having someone official talk to them. Bedroom rather basic but with good lighting and a very sophisticated shower. Our breakfast was very generous at 10 Euros, and apparently free for others depending on how the room was booked. Location out in a light industrial area which was odd but was still close enough to the restaurant we went to at night. Odd that cleaning staff thought a fifth of a roll of toilet paper would be adequate without a back-up. Staff we met were very pleasant.
