Pitibi is a door in the wall, but when you call our nice host arrived to show us the room. Newly refurbished, at bit of old and new. Nice large room, good sleeping facilities, but otherwise old building full of "brocante". Back garden could need freshening up. On the day the seating arrangements were soaking the rain, but all pillows out in the rain. Hrm. Free beer and water from the kitchen, but no soap or shampoo in the shower, just handsoap (which had been thinned with water). We had breakfast on the town so no experience of that. For one night ok, but some details to be taken care of...
We spent 7 nights at Pitibi - and it was exactly what you call an ideal holiday! The owner is a wonderful host and made us feel at home like at a friends place at once: warm welcome, a lot of good ideas for restaurants, beaches and tours, a lot of extra service to make us happy (f. e. we could use his grill to cook our own dinner ...). The rooms (and the whole house) is beautifully furnished, each room with a very individual concept. And it is located right next to the habour ...
We loved our stay at Pitibi. The owner, Helene, is very gracious and welcoming and explains all the best that Sanary has to offer. The hotel is in a fantastic location for walking, even to the beach! If you choose to have breakfast there is a lovely deck overlooking the back yard. We had a bottle of wine and a picnic out there one night and it was lovely. We parked at a car park which is close to the hotel but somehow ended up paying 60 Euros for two nights - next time we will contact Helen in advance to ask for advice about parking. The front door is very easy to miss - it has just a very small sign! The room was spacious and spotlessly clean. Highly recommended.
