A very well located hotel right in the centre of Sanary. The hotel grounds are lovely and atmospheric but the hotel is tired and in need of renovation. I find it very sad when I see such a lovely hotel well located. The room was very quiet and air conditioned and I slept well. But the breakfast was very disappointing....

I've read some of the previous reviews and I think it's important to remember that this is a 2* hotel, so you need to set your expectation level. We spent a long weekend here with a group of friends (4x couples) and had a great time. The rooms are basic (2*) and could do with brightening up - but they...

We have visited this hotel on June 19th for 3 nights as a start of our honeymoon trip: -The good thing that they have free parking and wifi. But on the other hand, the reception closes at 10 pm which is very weird, the towels available in the room are kids size, the room is too small, there is a...

You could see the bones of this once-grand dame who could use a refurb. A cryin' shame, really because the grounds are wonderful, the location is prime, and the rooms are an acceptable size but everything else about the place is just passable. It was utterly depressing. The bad and the good (to end on an "up" note): tired decor,...

First impressions are good and this looks to be a good choice, however these impressions last no longer until you are in the room and realise I provide better sleeping conditions for my dog. The 'beds' if you can even call them that are without doubt the worst I have ever sleep in and I have stayed in a huge...

You can't fault the location of this hotel (originally built in 1898 and then again after it was destroyed in WWII) because it is very close to the port, restaurants, bars, and so on. Its Wi-Fi is free (but slow) and free parking is available for cars. The rooms are air-conditioned, which is always an advantage in a French summer,...

This historic hotel is charming, but I assume is undergoing work currently as some elements didn't seem quite finished. None-the-less, the breakfast offerings were great, rooms were small, but clean, A/C was very effective, and it's in a terrific spot close to all the beach and port activity and businesses.

A very old hotel extremely well located. Downtown - a few feet from the harbour, the market and the center of town. Nested in the middle of a quiet garden. The building dating from a long while back is sturdy, and offers a warm 19th century look rather than the modern cold building block aspect of new constructions. There ends...

This is an old and tired property, not quite what the name or the brochure describe. Adequate would describe it best but fair value for money. The rooms we were given, and there might be better, were basic. Our a/c didn't work but we were given an electric fan immediately. The staff did their best to please. Like everywhere in...
