As part of Leger tours we stayed here for 4 nights. Rooms were clean and comfortable. A quiet and peaceful night sleep. Towels were changed daily. Toiletries in bathroom Hairdryer available Kettle available and tea-coffee room for drinking and reading in and possibly play the board games. We couldn’t find an English Tv Chanel for news but channel 29, on one eve, did offer English viewing. Breakfast was great - a selection of cold meats and cheeses. Fruit and yogurt and lovely white rolls with choice of jams. Dinner was suited to those with a Bavarian pallet but veg options are available. Desserts, as in Bavaria, are amazing. So take a look around the village... we were given a foggy torch lit walk. Thank you to all the lovely staff!
We were taken to this hotel by Leger coach holidays. We found this to be a very pleasant, friendly warm hotel. The staff always had a smile on their faces and nothing was too much trouble for them. Our room was spacious clean. The food was plentiful and tasty. I would highly recommend. I noticed that it was dog friendly too.
We stayed here for 4 nights whilst on a Leger coach holiday. Our room was in the annex and was big with a large balcony looking over magnificent countryside. The room was spotlessly clean and had a spacious bathroom with a large walk-in shower. We were on a half board basis and could find no fault with the quality, quantity and choice of food. The staff were most welcoming and always had a smile for us. We speak very little German but managed to get by and felt in no way intimidated by the staff due to our lack of their language. One night I left my bag under the seat and the waitress came looking for me with it - in some places it would have just been put it in lost property. Before we travelled I had read some not so good reviews on this hotel and honestly after staying there I can't believe we're talking about the same place.…
This hotel was clean and the food was excellent. A great base to see the surrounding area. The service was first rate. The only thing it lacked was a lounge area to sit to in socialise in the evening.
Food was dreadful, bought from local budget supermarket. Raw chicken was served to several in our group.the meals were very basic and often inedible.salads were served in bowls full of water.tap water was refused at the table.their own water was over 3 euros.. There was nowhere to sit after dinner.the service was so rushed and showed no training that the vibe was to get the group done with so the staff could finish but then nowhere to sit, have a coffee or drink. There was a poor choice of alcohol and no tonic water. I would strongly advise avoiding this hotel
Ate here while staying in Hohenau the food was lovely. There was a large selection on the menu and a few vegatarians options which was a pleasing. The salad bar had plenty of options to chose from as well
Great place to stay if you plan to visit the Bavarian National Park to photograph the animals. Rooms were comfortable and the staff very friendly. There's even a swimming pool. You many want to eat out though as the inhouse menu was somewhat limited
