I stayed here with a friend during June 2013 for 10 days. I booked this holiday with a girlfriend but unfortunately split up before we were due to go away. We picked this hotel and location due to it being a nice quiet and remote hotel as that's what we were looking for. Due to the circumstances I decided to...

Couldn't fault this hotel, stayed here with my boyfriend as our first holiday together. Everything was lovely, spotlessly clean, nice food, helpful staff. Stone throw away from the beach which is also very quiet most of the time we walked for hours the one day without even realising. Once we have seen some more new places we will be returning.

Just back from our family holiday...........and I have to say we have returned from the 2 weeks refreshed and relaxed. I will say we have been before, so we knew that the hotel was in a remote position........and this is why we choose it!! If you want a holiday in the middle of the action, this is NOT the hotel...

Couldn't fault the hotel other than the rock hard uncomfortable beds. Good choice of food and good quality. Friendly and helpful staff, nice pool and xi beach was fantastic. We will definitely stay again in years to come. Bit gutted to be home to be honest. We all enjoyed our holiday here

Accomodation is basic yes, but you are only there to get ready and sleep. The food is very varied and always fresh and never warmed. It is a true family hotel and internet (wi fi free), safety deposit box, air con, fridge and even a short minute phone call to England is all free. Staff are amazing. whilst there is...

As per an earlier review I had originally booked the 4*Utopia in Skala which is a much smaller, modern hotel but at the eleventh hour Thomson changed our accomodation to the 3* +(the + being questionable) Cethalonia Palace at the other end of the island. Having tried to get something similar to my original booking with Thomson I gave up...

COULD be a perfect piece of paradise! A few 'finishing touches' needed. Can't complain about the food or restaurant service....most of the staff always smiling and welcoming...but WHO is that unkempt little chap who hovers around the buffet area, a moustache bigger than him (some guests refer to him as Super Mario), looks like the local handyman & smells like...

After reading some reviews on here we were very apprehensive about our stay at the Kefalonia Palace but what a fantastic week we've had! Rooms very clean and easily slept our family of 4, the food was excellent and varied, the pool was amazing and we managed to get sun beds every day, we can't wait to go back! An...

The hotel was very clean and the staff were really helpful. The rooms were basic but pleasant enough and had everything you would need as a base, no UK TV and the Wi-Fi access was sporadic, which can be a good thing for adults, but would have been useful for younger children when escaping from the sun for a few...

My first experience of all enclosure holidays was disappointing. I cannot complain about the food what there was ,was ok. For mass catering I suppose it was ok. You knew on Tuesday you would get X,Y & Z. You knew for breakfast you could have something that resembled bacon and either a solid fried egg or one that was not...
