Hotel Glavas Inn is my family's second home. Staff is so kind and helpful. Food is delicious and always fresh, and everything is clear. We are coming back to Glavas Inn every year and we love it more year by year. Hotel is modernly designed. Seaview from rooftop is amazing and there is spot for the best pictures.

Overall this was a really lovely holiday. It was the perfect opportunity to relax and get away from work etc. The hotel itself was beautiful, clean and well looked after. The pool area is so lovely and you can sit there all day sunbathing- we never really struggled to get a lounger either. They also have a mini shop where you can buy snacks etc which is very handy. The aircon was very good and the room we stayed in was modern. The only downside was the shower which seemed to leak. The food, we booked all inclusive, was very yummy. It always seemed very fresh and you could tell everything was homecooked! The only thing I would say is that it did get slightly repetitive especially if you are a fussy eater but all the food options were delicious. The all inclusive drinks were also great with beer, wine, soft drinks and frappes all included! The bar area was lovely, both inside and out, but beware of mosquitos and definitely pack your repellent! I would say the only thing I maybe would like to have seen was more entertainment in the evening even something like a quiz would have been really fun as the evenings can get quite repetitive (bring card games!) The bus goes into the local town twice a week for two hours in the evening. It’s a small town that really just does touristy things but it’s nice to explore anyway. We also booked a trip through the hotel (The Blue Lagoon Cruise) which was amazing. It was only €55 each and included transfer there and back, the cruise and food! Definitely worth booking! You can also hire sun loungers at the hotel’s beach area which are only €5 for two for the day. I think this is great value as the beach is so beautiful. I will say this is definitely a holiday for those of you that want to ‘escape’ and do nothing but relax for a week. The hotel is very far from a lot of things but I really don’t think it matters that much if you just want to relax and enjoy time as a couple. I have recommended The Glavas to friends already!

What a fabulous hotel!! We spent 10 days there and cannot thank the staff enough. From the wonderful and very helpful ladies on reception to the lovely, friendly staff at the pool bar, restaurant and housekeeping. Food was excellent, authentic homemade Greek dishes, using many of their own grown produce. The beautifully maintained gardens surrounding the hotel are full of fabulous olive and lemon trees, as well as many more beautiful plants. The hotel even harvest their olive crop and produce their own olive oil, which they use in their cooking. The hotel is laid out on many levels on a steep hill, but this added exercise enabled us to work off some of the delicious food 😂. The beautiful beach is only a short walk away, via a bridge and hill. I really want to thank the whole team at Glavas Inn for making our holiday truly superb, we will be back!!

After booking the Glavas Inn the good reviews seemed to decline slightly, so we were a little apprehensive as to what to expect. On arrival our first impressions were good. We had a warm welcome from Alexandra in reception, our bags were taken to our room and she advised lunch was still being served. Our room 115 was superb with spectacular pool & sea views (Mount Olympus at sunset) the only small downside was the room could of benefitted from a small chest of drawers & a shelf above the sink, we didn't miss a kettle. Housekeeping came every day & towels were changed daily, even when we hung them up. AirCon was brilliant. The Pool area was exceptionally clean & drinks were served in glasses.. civilised, all inclusive drinks were beer, red, white & rose wine, iced & hot coffee! Food was wonderfully fresh & Greek and judging by the aubergines, olives, lemons & tomatoes in the gardens, home grown too. The small shop on site is well stocked. The beach is beautiful and 2 sunbeds & umbrella are 5 Euros a day, you are issued a key / number to unlock your set, we chose to keep ours for our last 5 days and paid when we checked out. Looking at the sea and walking right will give you a 2k walk there and back which was great in the mornings. Nowhere was easily accessible from the hotel, buses & taxis were non-existent and difficult and as the hotel is on a busy trunk road, walking is not really an option. Although the road is busy and we were very aware of it round the pool, you can't hear it at the beach and it was unobtrusive from our room. The Glavas is situated on a very steep hill and although this didn't define our holiday it would need to be considered by some, lots of steps & hills even to & from the beach. The main areas of the hotel are exceptionally clean and beautifully decorated... so Instagram worthy! and the staff are lovely, hardworking and approachable. If you are looking for an all-inclusive that is 'all singing & dancing' / ALL drinks are free / endless entertainment / everything on your doorstep and 1000's of food choices don't come to the Glavas Inn. If you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday, to sunbathe, read, swim and beach walk in the day and at night gently enjoy drinks and the occasional entertainment (1 Greek night & 1 night with a Sax player) play cards & chat in superb surroundings this will be your bag. Thank you all at the Glavas Inn Hotel & Resort for our wonderful stay.

The hotel was lovely, the pool area was clean and the staff friendly. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday if you like doing nothing. We had an incredible view from our balcony and the bed was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the Greek night entertainment round the pool one evening. However, the all inclusive offer is not all inclusive. You have to pay extra for cocktails, spirits and even ice cream. We also had our “all inclusive” bands cut off at 10am the day we left when we were not being picked up until 5pm which I found disappointing. The food was standard all inclusive type food, edible but nothing to write home about. All in all, we had a lovely holiday with family but we won’t be rushing back.

We came here for my 1 year olds first holiday and what a place! It truly is a little home from home. The staff are the friendliest people and absolutely doted on our little boy. The food was faultless. Excellent pool and lovely setting. Will definitely return!

After reading the reviews after i booked, I was a little nervous! BUT its easy to see some people are hard to please. We had the best week away, the staff, dogs, food and drink were amazing. All the food is super fresh, the beer and wine is fine, 2 cocktails for 15 euros. Small shop on site, sells water, beers, magnets, cigarettes, postcards ect. It is a quiet area, with not much around - but you don't need it. The hotel has everything you need, and a beautiful restaurant (Elia) on the beach that has equally as fresh and great food. Went on an excursion on 55 euros each and saw the most stunning beaches. If you are after a sunny relaxing holiday , book it ! Just 2 things to make this better would be a kettle in the room and a toaster at breakfast!

I want to start by saying this hotel is very beautiful, clean and modern. Some reviews I have read explained the food was not amazing and didn’t have much variety but we thought the exact opposite, the food was always delicious and had so much choice. The beach is beautiful and just a 2 minute walk (be careful of the jelly fish), you do have to pay £5 a day to reserve 2 sun-loungers. There is also a nice beach bar which has comfy sun-loungers you can use when buying drinks. (The drinks were quite expensive for what they were.) The restaurant just behind the beach was lovely but make sure you ask the price of the fish before ordering as we didn’t ask and ended up paying £70 for one fish which wasn’t that good. The room was always cleaned to a good standard each day but it was quite small and didn’t appear as how the pictures made it look. There was also a steep hill you have to walk up and down everyday to get to the room or reception which was absolutely fine for us but if you are not as able it could be hard. There is a lift but only takes you about half way up the hill. Unfortunately the alcoholic drinks were not good, all tasted watered down and got a bit boring after a few days as there are no cocktails or spirits included in the all inclusive, just wine and beer. When we did buy the cocktails at the bar they tasted amazing (some of the best cocktails I’ve tasted). All the waiters and bar staff were very nice. We would definitely recommend hiring a car through the hotel, even if just for a day as there isn’t much going on around the hotel in walking distance. You can walk to a small town which is about a 25 minute walk, which has some nice restaurants, bars and a little supermarket. The hotel offer a free bus on a Tuesday and Thursday that drops you off in the town at 8:00 and picks you up at 10:00. When we did hire the car we were recommended a few nice places to go which was lovely but the main place we wanted to see was the caves which has been closed for years. The mosquitoes were quite bad at night, I had 40 bites all over my body but the 3rd night and but parter was covered in them too. Definitely don’t forget your mosquitoes repellent and after care! This hotel is a lovely place to come if you want to wind down with your parter or family. It was very nice for us to come and relax and get away from our busy lives back at home.
